SUMMARY
CONTEST RULES*
1. Each
contestant will submit 3 layouts (no more, no less) to the $20,000
Layout Contest area of the Scrapbook.com Layout Gallery
a. Each
layout must be an original work
b. Each layout must be a new upload to the Scrapbook.com Layout Gallery and
may not be (or cannot have been) commercially displayed or submitted to any other layout gallery, contest, or publication at any time
(for example, no layouts previously uploaded to Scrapbook.com or any other online gallery, or submitted to any contest, publisher, or design team application of any kind, are eligible)
c. Each layout must measure
8"x8" or larger and must be a scrapbook layout. Cards and other craft projects
will not be accepted
d. Each submitted layout
must use product from at least THREE of the contest sponsors - BasicGrey,
SEI, QuicKutz, Scrapworks, KI Memories, Heidi Swapp, Imagination Project,
All My Memories and Bazzill Basics. Each layout uploaded must also list the
products used in "Product Used" or "Description" field.
2. Layouts
must be uploaded to the "$20,000
Layout Contest" area of the Layout Gallery between January 3, 2006
and March 31, 2006
3. Layouts will be judged as a group on their aesthetic appearance and
creativity
4. The 20 contestants that have submitted the most creative and aesthetically
pleasing layouts, as judged by the Scrapbook.com Contest Committee, will be
declared winners.
5. Winners will be announced May 31, 2006
6. Winners must be Members in good standing, i.e. not banned from Scrapbook.com
Neighborhood Forums either before or during the contest
7. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age to enter
8. Awards. Each of the 20 winners:
a. Receives
$1000 in scrapbooking supplies
b. Will have at least one winning layout published in the Scrapbook.com
20K idea book (an idea book that will be published in digital format)
9. Winners and disqualified persons from the previous $15,000 contest are not eligible to enter.
10. The Promotion is subject to all applicable laws, void where prohibited by law and is limited to residents of the United States and Canada (with restrictions: see detailed rules for more information).

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
DESCRIPTION OF CONTEST
Scrapbook.com $20,000 contest (hereafter "Contest") will award $1,000 of assorted scrapbooking
supplies to 20 contest entrants whose layouts are judged to be the most creative
and aesthetically pleasing by the Scrapbook.com Contest Committee. Scrapbook.com
("SB.C") also will publish at least one layout from each of the 20 winners in
a SB.C Idea Book, a digital e-book that will be published in 2006.
The 20 winners will be selected from all eligible entries received during the
Promotional Period.
Entries must be uploaded to the SB.C Layout Gallery at http://www.scrapbook.com:/scrapbook_layouts/showgallery.php/cat/6329
and must be submitted in compliance with all procedures explained in these rules.
Following notification of winning status, all contest winners must sign declarations
of authenticity and assign all publication rights for the designs and photos
contained in the layouts.
PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotional Period begins January 3, 2006, 12:00:01 AM EST and ends March
31, 2006, 11:59:59 PM EST (the "Promotion Period"). All entries must be uploaded
to the SB.C Layout Gallery during the Promotional Period. Layouts uploaded to
the SB.C Layout Gallery at any time prior to or following the Promotion Period
will not be considered.
The 20 winners will be selected by the SB.C Contest Committee May 10, 2006 from
those entrants and entries satisfying all submission criteria below. The winners
will be announced on the SB.C web site on May 31, 2006.
SUBMISSIONS
Each contestant must submit 3 layouts (no more, no less) to the $20,000 contest
area of the SB.C Layout Gallery by uploading a scanned image (or high-quality photograph) of the layout:
1. Each layout must be an original work created solely by the contestant submitting
the work
2. Each submitted layout must use product from, or generated by, at least three
of the contest sponsors - BasicGrey, SEI, QuicKutz, Scrapworks, KI Memories, Heidi Swapp, Imagination Project,
All My Memories and Bazzill Basics. Each layout uploaded must also list the products used in the
layout in the "Products Used"or "Description" field
3. Each layout must be a new upload to the Scrapbook.com Layout Gallery and
may not be (or cannot have been) commercially displayed or submitted to any other layout gallery, contest, or publication at any time
(for example, no layouts previously uploaded to Scrapbook.com or any other online gallery, or submitted to any contest, publisher, or design team application of any kind, are eligible)
4. Layouts submitted cannot be entered in any other contest prior to or during
the Contest Period and cannot be restricted from entry into the SB.C contest
by any agreements with 3rd parties
5. Each layout must be 8"x8" or larger and must be a scrapbook layout; no cards
or other projects will be acceptable
6. Layouts must be submitted between January 3, 2006 and March 31, 2006
TERRITORY
The Promotion is subject to all applicable laws, void where prohibited by law
and is limited to United States and Canadian Residents. This contest is not
open to residents of Puerto Rico or Quebec.
ELIGIBILITY
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO WIN.
Subject to the other requirements stated elsewhere in these Official Rules,
entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. To be eligible
to win, SB.C must receive entries in the format designated below. Employees
of SB.C, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers or their immediate
families are not eligible. By entering, entrant agrees to abide by these Official
Rules and the decisions of SB.C, which are final and binding. By making
a submission, entrant certifies that entrant either has or can obtain written
consents from persons appearing in photos contained in the entrant's layouts
that permit SB.C to utilize such photos in SB.C publications.
By entering the Contest, entrants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless
SB.C, their legal representatives, their affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers,
sponsors, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents,
from any damages which may arise out of participation in the Contest, or out
of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of contest prizes. By participating,
each entrant agrees to these Official Contest Rules and to the decisions of
the SB.C Contest Committee, which are final and binding in all respects.
Contestants must be and remain a member of the SB.C Neighborhood (layout gallery
and forums, etc.) in good standing. If a contestant has been banned from the
SB.C Neighborhood Bulletin Boards (Forums and Galleries) for any reason either
before or during the contest, or prior to the award of prizes, that contestant
will be disqualified from consideration.
Current and former employees of Scrapbook.com are not eligible to enter.
Winners of the 2005 $15,000 Scrapbook.com contest are not eligible to enter. People previously disqualified from any other Scrapbook.com contest are not eligible to enter this contest without written consent from Scrapbook.com.
DISQUALIFICATION
SB.C may prohibit entrants from participating in the Promotion and disqualify
entries if they do not follow the rules of the contest or if they attempt to
enter the Promotion through means not described in the rules, attempt to disrupt
the contest or circumvent the rules, or act in an un-sportsmanlike manner or
with an intent to annoy or harass any other entrant, affiliated parties or employees
of SB.C.
HOW TO ENTER (NO MAIL IN ENTRIES)
All entries must be uploaded to the SB.C Layout Gallery during the Promotional
Period. No mail-in entries will be considered. For instructions on how to upload

Each entrant must upload three layouts (no more, no less) to the aforementioned
section of the SB.C Layout Gallery. The submission of more or less than three
entries will automatically disqualify an entrant. Each layout will be judged
on its own merit. Contest Winners will be judged as those who have submitted
the strongest body of work, taking into account every layout they have submitted.
All winning entries become the property of SB.C. All entries will be subject
to the general rules of the Layout Gallery. Click

In the unlikely event that SB.C encounters technical or equipment failures such
as telephone network lines failing, computer online systems failing, servers
and/or provider services go down, or human error in connection with the promotion
etc., SB.C and promoters will not be held responsible.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY / LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering, each entrant further agrees that, in the event there is any conflict
or other inconsistency between the Official Contest Rules and any advertisements,
promotional or marketing materials, e-mails, or announcements relevant to this
Promotion, these Official Contest Rules will govern.
PRIZE
Each of the 20 winners receives $1000 in scrapbooking supplies and will have
at least one winning layout published in an SB.C Idea Book (digital e-book).
WINNER NOTIFICATION, PRIZE CLAIM AND PRIZE DELIVERY
Winners will be notified via email on or before May 10, 2006. An email notification
will be sent to the email address associated with log-in user name of the entrant.
Each Winner must respond to email and provide a valid shipping address by May
15, 2006. If there is no response to the notification email by May 15, 2006,
prize is forfeited and will be awarded to another entrant. SB.C will not be responsible
for failure of notices due to the failure of winner to receive the notification
regardless of the reason, including but not limited to spam blocking programs,
ISP failures, and other Internet problems.
SB.C will send to Winners documentation that must be completed prior to announcing
prize winners. Winners will be required to execute and return signed documentation
by May 24, 2006 via certified mail to SB.C, 116 N. Lindsay Rd. Suite #3, Mesa,
AZ 85213. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification.
Winners will be required to provide picture proof of identification, which may
include a driver's license, passport, a voting card or similar government issued
identification. Return of any prize / prize notification as undeliverable may
result in disqualification. SB.C will mail prizes within 30 days of receipt
of certified letters with the required documentation enclosed to the shipping
address provided by the entrant.
Unclaimed prizes will be awarded to others.
RIGHTS OF SB.C
SB.C reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel, or suspend Contest
should virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of SB.C interfere
in the administration, security or proper participation in Contest. Entrants
entering through the Web must provide a valid e-mail address. SB.C is not responsible
for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by Internet users
or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in Contest
or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the
entries in Contest.
BUSINESS TRANSFER
In the event that a third party acquires SB.C or substantially all of its assets,
contestant information will be one of the transferred assets.
ODDS OF WINNING
The total number of entries received during the Promotion Period determines
the odds of winning.

To receive a list of winners, send a self addressed stamped envelope, together
with a note indicating Contest of interest to: Scrapbook.com, 116 N. Lindsay
Rd. Suite #3, Mesa, AZ 85213.
TAX INFORMATION
Payment of all taxes and fees on prizes won are the sole responsibility of the
winner. Winners must check with their own tax counsel to ascertain whether a
prize will generate taxable income, and, if so, the amount.
NO SUBSTITUTION OF PRIZES
No substitution or transfer of prizes will be accommodated or permitted, other
than at SB.C's sole discretion.
PUBLICATION
Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for SB.C, its affiliates, subsidiaries,
advertising and promotional agencies to use winner's name, likenesses, and submitted
layouts for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation
unless prohibited by law. Each winner further grants to SB.C the right to use
and publish his or her identity and home city and home state online and in print,
or any other media, in connection with this and other Promotions.
EMAIL INFORMATION
By entering this contest entrant gives entrant's consent and permission for
SB.C to send entrant email updates from SB.C and SB.C's third party partners.
VENUE AND DISPUTES
All Entrants agree that any and all claims, disputes and causes of action arising
out of or related to the Promotion shall be resolved, without resort to any
form of class action, exclusively by the appropriate courts in Maricopa County,
Arizona in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without giving
effect to conflict of law rules which would cause the application of the laws
of any other jurisdiction.
LEGAL WARNING
Any attempt by any individual, whether or not a contestant, to damage, destroy,
tamper with or vandalize this website, or otherwise interfere with the operation
of this Promotion, is a violation of criminal and civil law and SB.C will diligently
pursue all remedies in this regard against any offending individual or entity
to the fullest extent permissible by law.
FORCE MAJEURE
SB.C reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Promotion should any causes
beyond the control of the SB.C or Promoters, corrupt the administration, security,
fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Promotion. All decisions are
final.
DISCLAIMER
EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, SB.C MAKES NO WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE USE OF THE PROMOTION
PRIZE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PRIZE. Under no circumstances will SB.C or any affiliated persons
or entities be liable for: (1) electronic, computer, telephone, network, internet
or other technical or human error(s) which may occur in connection with the
Promotion; (2) any injury or damage to person or property, which may be caused,
directly or indirectly, from participation or attempted participation in the
Promotion; (3) inaccurate, incomplete, lost or stolen entries or other information
related to the Promotion; (4) illegitimate entries (which will be disqualified);
(5) punitive, indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
