My advice is to use a 3-ring binder style book and not a post bound. They stay open so much better. The 8X8 is a good size but the 8 1/2 X 11 is just too large.
Look in my gallery in my albums and find the recipe album to see one of the ones I've made. I just used cooking/food pps and elements and printed the recipes on my printer.
