U and I are heading off to the thrift stores to look for books for DD. He is so thrilled he can't stand it!

It's raining cat's & dog's at the moment.

The in-laws are coming over for dinner tonight so I threw in a corned beef. I'm trying a new recipe for me. Baked spinach. I'm not a huge spinach fan but I really love the baked dish covered in cheese I find at the Chinese buffets. I found a blog where the person had the same love for the stuff and she shared her recipe. I hope it turns out like I want it to.

Sandra...you seriously got yourself caught up! I do like purple cabbage but rarely buy it....not sure why. I think DH and his DD have picked out a place for his mom....it's very close to my home. My chair is coming along nicely, just not quick enough. I'd like to snap my fingers and find it done & perfect. I decided that I will also be stripping (hehe....not worthy of any tucks) my Goodwill computer desk also. It's solid wood, DH was very surprised!! I also have a huge TV armoire that I got from my sister last year. She was going to trash it. It's naked (or very lightly stained). I think I just might stain that at some point as I really love the rich color of this stain I bought for my chair & desk. I can't remember if you're on Pinterest, but I have that fajita recipe pinned there. My ice cream.....very yummy! I'm so glad I found the ice cream maker. Best purchase in a long time!!!
