I prefer to use more specialty paper to print on - my favorites being Cryogen White (because it has a subtle sparkle) and Neenah Solar White because it's just a great bright white. Both have a decent weight, and do very well with inking and distressing, which a text-weight paper might not.
Thank you for the quick responses. I did a few scrapbooks years ago and just recently decided to begin scrapbooking again. My, how things have changed. I read some of the posts on here and have no clue what is being discussed. I never knew there was such a thing as a pen to test the pH. How wonderful! I will definitely check into the papers mentioned. I really want my scrapbooks to last a few generations, at least, so want to do all I can to reach that goal.
