mine story is a bit more difficult than everyone else's stories. my best friend has expressed an intrest in learning how to scrap. well she lives in chicago and i live in atlanta. so what we are doing is teaching by email and mail. last month i sent her a starter pack of supplies. then i emailed her step by step pictures. i made a few sample layouts for her to have with the starter pack. the step by step pictures showed everything from choosing paper to photos all the way to journaling if desired. it has been kind of hard to doby email and mail, but i think she is getting the hang of it. i'm not sure if she will stick with it though because she is very busy with work. we will see though.
