**August BOM Challenge: ME TIME!** - Scrapbook.com

Time for the next installment in a year long series - The BOOK OF ME Challenge! This month's challenge - "ME TIME"!

How many of us scrapbook everyone and everything around us but neglect to scrapbook stuff about ourselves? I do all the time. If my son isn't in a LO it's a miracle...LOL! It is very thereputic to get out your feelings and thoughts on paper so why not scrapbook it?! And how great is it to go back in a few years to see what you were like and what you were into at the time?

Your goal is to scrap a LO about what you like to do for your "ME TIME"! IE: reading, working out, taking baths, scrappin (duh!), driving, gardening, etc. What relaxes you? What keeps you grounded? What keeps you sane!?

LO has to have a picture of an inanimate object - NO PICTURES OF PEOPLE!! For example: if you like to run you can show a pic of your running shoes. If you like to take baths, a picture of bubble bath. If you like to scrap, a pic of your scrap desk or tools. Understand?? No pics of you or anyone else!! More than one pic is ok but no people!

Also, LO must have journaling explaining your "ME TIME". Optional twist for the extra vote this month is: NEGATIVE SPACE! Negative space is space on your LO that does not have any embellies, etc on it. Search the gallery for ideas on negative space.

Since I will be doing the challenges right along with you.....here is my "ME TIME" LO as an example:

The rules and regs:

-LO has to be about your "Me Time", have at least one pic of an inanimate object (no people), and journaling explaining your "Me Time".
-YOU GET AN EXTRA VOTE IF YOU HAVE NEGATIVE SPACE!
-LOs must be new as of August 1st, 2009! And you can pop in and join anytime during the month of
August - NO SIGN UPS NECESSARY!
-LOs may be submitted now through August 31st, 2009.
-LOs may be paper or digi scrapped, any size, and one or 2 page LOs
-On September 1st, 2009, you will PM me your top 5 faves and I will poll them for judging on September 4th, 2009. WHEN VOTING, PLEASE TELL ME YOUR NUMBER, THE NUMBERS OF THE LOs YOU ARE VOTING FOR, AND IF YOU INCLUDED NEGATIVE SPACE ON YOUR LO (do not vote for yourself - you get a vote just for voting!).
-Winner will get a $10 Scrapbook.com e-gift card from moi!
-Make sure your LOs are "publicly embedded" when you upload your photo into your gallery. (the little box at the bottom of the submission page - click it!)
-Remember IF YOU GET LOVE, YOU GIVE LOVE! Everyone loves comments on their LOs! That's why we are here, right?
