I keep seeing layouts that use the decorative felt ribbons, but I've never seen them in a store. Does anyone know of anyplace that sells them or do I just need to order it? I just like to see things up close and personal at least once before I order it, but if that's the only way to get some, I guess that's what I'll do. TIA

I've seen them in the LSS.

Just an FYI - we're not allowed to post links to other craft sites or online stores. Your post is probably going to get mopped.

Very cute - I've seen them at stores and a CK convention. I think that Queen & Co. has some of these - I purchased a bunch at their vendor booth for $1.00.

Those are like the ones by Queen and Co . and they are called felt fusion. I have seen them in the LSS and Archivers if you have one near you. They also sell them here. There is another brand I have seen them by, but I can't think of the name...I have seen it in the LSS as well.

The only problem with these is that they stretch. They're difficult to get placed straight without moving out of shape. Also, peeling the backing off can be a chore on some of the more delicate ones. They're beautiful and look so nice, but just be aware that they are work!

Yep, they are work! I leave the backings on the more delicate ones so they don't get all stretched out of shape.

My LSS has them and I've been debating on whether or not to get some.

One of the M's stores here in town is carrying them now as well as some other Queen & Co. embellies.

I bought one at my LSS, but haven't used it yet... still trying to think of something pretty to do with it! I will take the advice mentioned on here into consideration, though!

I bought a couple of those because I love the look but I've hardly used them because like someone said they stretch out so the last time I used it I just glued it on!

I make something similar with my Cricut and DS. So far I haven't used them on a lo - but they are interesting and pretty made out of lighter weight cardstock. I used George cart. and welded stars along with a couple of greetings like this: *words*words*words* and I like the effect.

Especially since I don't much like velvet's texture. I made them 2" tall and 12" wide and they are neat.

I actually saw some at A.C. Moore here a few days ago. Haven't tried them yet. They look cool though!
