Hi Kels! I saw all your clocks the other day and they are beautiful!!!
These clocks are so easy to make. I gave one to my new DIL for her wedding shower. The pink one is in my scrap room. The first one will be a Christmas gift for a dear internet friend. We have been exchanging Christmas gifts for several years now. Doesn't she have beautiful grandchildren?
Here's my latest one. I can't put it in my gallery yet because the friend I made it for looks in my gallery every once in awhile. Click on the photo to enlarge and see the details.
I used a clock from Walmart and altered it for my scraproom and made my own numbers...it worked, but then I've read on another board that some people had some problems with the cheapy clocks working after altering them
I only made a total of 2 clocks but they are fun! the first one i did was from walgreens and it didnt have the plastic piece around it nor the glass and it worked just fine when i was finished I liked that one better it was easier to get a correct measurement for the pp the second one I did was also from walgreens and that one is in my gallery I altered it but I found it was kinda a pain because the plastic piece and coudlnt get a real good measurement for the pp. that one was mounted on a skateboard for a friends son.
Not sure how to get my clock pics on this discussion but if you go to my gallery (I'm Jammon) you can see three I've done for gifts in the past year. They were all a huge sucess (or at least the recipients pretended to like them LOL!).
You know, Deb, I've seen those somewhere. You might call M's or another "hobby" shop to see if they have them. I don't know why I'm thinking Wally World. You might call them too. I would ask for a clock kit.
