i want to get my friends those wooden letters thats spell out her daughters name( jaelynn) but i cant seem to get the paper to stick very well without those wrinkles in the paper! what do you guys do to avoid this oo and what do you use to put the ribbon flowers and such so they dont ever come back off? thanks
I use mod podge, thinly onto the wooden letter, not the paper. I have never had a problem with wrinkles or bubbling on wooden letters. As for embellies, I use Glue Dots or a hot glue gun, depends on what I am putting on.
I like Modge podge and spray adhesive, as well, and the foam brush is a good tip, too. If you have a brayer I suggest running that over the top of the paper after you adhere it to work and smooth out any air pockets, or you can just use a popsicle stick.
