Although I have only been scrapping for less than 6 months, I have already developed a style of scrapping. I call it "everything but the kitchen sink" because I tend to add and add and add to my 8x8 LO's until there is barely any negative space. I don't do tons of flowers and bling so that title doesn't work but am sure there is a way to describe my style that sounds a bit more dignified than kitchen sink! My style is not unique so I know there must be an existing name. Does anyone out there know the name of my style?

I call mine eclectic. I do whatever I fancy at the time.

I would just call it "theellenb's style"

I have no title either. I wonder what others would think I am??? Makes me wonder.

It's almost collage-ish, yes? Why label yourself?! Just have fun lol

Thank you all for responding. It's not that I NEED a label it's that when I showed some LO's to some co-workers and tried to explain my style it sounded kind of weird - kitchensink scrapping - but maybe that is what I do :-) Hey, it's better than doing dishes at the sink!

I understand needing a label people like us like to categorize things

I would call your work (and I love it, btw) "highly embellished with a flair towards vintage",,,,

some things might be more vintage than others, but you do seem to have a slight (or more than slight on some Lo's) vintage leaning,,,,

The fact is, like most of us, you probably blur the lines of style, depending on your mood or the paper or the photo,,,,,,,,but I would definitely say "highly embellished with a flair towards vintage"

There is a company called kitchen sink stamps, maybe you should check them out, LOL!

When I look in your gallery, I see collage. But most scrapping is a collage of sorts so that's probably not much help!
