No, seriously! I want to know. I'll even share my silliness.

A few weeks ago I had so much fun lugging out my Cricut and cutting some shapes for crafting that I started "singing" "Gettin' Cricky Wit' It," ala Will Smith's "Gettin' Jiggy Wit' It." It was complete with all the na-na's.

Anyone else ever get *this* into a project and tool?

Spunky Scrapper By Scrapalooza

I love rock n roll & I love to scrap so I combined them!

i wanna scrap! (scrap)
i wanna scrap! (scrap)
i want to scrap (scrap)
i wanna scrap! (scrap)

put it down you say, well all i got to say to you is time and time again
i say, "no!" no! no, no, no, no no!
tell me not to play well, all i got to say to you when you tell me not to play,
i say, "no!"no! no, no, no, no no!
so, if you ask me why i like the way i crop it, there's only one thing i can say to you

i wanna scrap! (scrap)
i wanna scrap! (scrap)
i want to scrap (scrap)
i wanna scrap! (scrap)

there's a feelin' that i get from nothin' else and there ain't nothin' in the world
that makes me go! go! go, go, go, go go!
turn the Cricut up i've waited for some time so i could scrap this favorite line ,
let's go! go! go, go, go, go go!
when it's like this i feel the paper callin’ to me there's nothin' else that i would rather do

i wanna scrap! (scrap)
i wanna scrap! (scrap)
i want to scrap (scrap)
i wanna scrap! (scrap)

Funny you should ask. I've had this one sitting on my desk waiting to be scrapped with a pic of my scraproom, but my room hasn't been photo-ready since I wrote it in Feb. 09 (hanging head in shame). Anyway, sing it to the tune of John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads."

Scrappin' On, Bring Mojo Home

Almost heaven, it's my scraproom
Stamps & cardstock, ribbon & embellies
When I play there, time it really flies
Least that's how it gets when mojo happens by

Chorus:
Scrappin' on, bring mojo home
'Till I get some pages done
In my scraproom, all the night through,
Scrappin' on, bring mojo home

Empty albums loom before me
Sheets of cardstock, sketches yet envisioned
Flying scissors, trim & adhesive,
Hoping it turns into something that's cohesive

Chorus

I hear my pics, from my mem'ry card, they call me
While printed ones remind me of my pages still
undone
And scrappin' through the night
I get a feeling that these piles have just begun,
just begun
Chorus & fade

How's that for an irritating little earworm?

Ok this is not a song but it reminded me of this.

My husband firmly believes that Dave Coulier should be doing the Cricut infomercials.

I never have, I'm not quite that clever. But DH has a friend who has reworked popular tunes to write songs about his vehicles, work, body parts and many other topics.
