A group of us that love to chat about "everything" also love to share recipes. Well, we often lose the spot in our forum where a recipe was suggested, so we decided to have just a forum for our recipes. All chefs can feel free to add recipes here for easy storage. Copy and paste the list of categories in your response to this post so you can easily organize your post. As you add recipes just edit your orginal post, so someone wanting a certain recipe can simply find it by the user that orginal added the recipe. This way the only info here would be a single post by each chef with recipes that you can add or delete by editting. Hope it helps.

Fried Cheese Cakes-
Ingredients:
Box of ready made cheese cake
and tortilla shells

1. mix the cheese cake recipe per the instructions
2. forget the crust part and put aside any topping for later (if your box comes with thoses)
3. spread the cheese cake filling lightly over the tortilla
4. roll up the shell like a burrito and pin close with a tooth pick
5. place them in the freezer(if you have the time)
6. deep fry until golden brown (just a minute or so)
7. top with powder sugar or anything else you love on cheese cake

Rita cup cakes

s'more pie
Recipe:

1/2 cup salted butter (1 stick)
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup graham cracker crumbs (a little less than 1 cellophane packet of graham crackers)
1 tsp baking powder
1 (7 oz) container of Marshmallow Creme
1 Giant (7 oz) Hershey’s bar

1. Prep: Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9″ pie pan with baking spray.

2. Crust: Cream butter and sugar. Mix in egg and vanilla. Slowly add flour, graham cracker crumbs, and baking powder. (Or you can do what I do: cream butter and sugar, and then everything else.) The dough will be somewhat stiff, like cookie dough. Divide dough in half, and press half into the pie pan.

3. Filling: Spread the marshmallow creme in the pie crust. Break the chocolate bare in pieces and spread in a layer over the marshmallow.

4. Top crust: Roll remaining dough out between two sheets of waxed paper. Carefully peel off one sheet of paper. Place the crust, waxed paper side up, on top of the pie. Peel off the second sheet of waxed paper. Roll, crimp or pinch the edges of the pie.

5. Bake: 20 minutes until golden brown and delicious.

6. Cool: on a wire rack, resisting as long as you can. (It’s best warm!)

Washington Apple Martini
Equal parts (1 oz):
Cranberry Juice
Puckers
Crown Royal
Shake in a shaker with ice.
YUM - it doesn't get any easier than this ladies!!

Main Dish
Chicken Broccoli and Ziti
1/4 c olive oil
2 large boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 -2 cloves crushed garlic
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. broccoli florets
1/4 c milk
1/2 c parmesan cheese
1/2 lb ziti
2 T buter

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute chicken with garlic, salt and pepper until lightly browned.
2. Add the broccoli florets. Toss with the chicken and adjust seasoning. Cook and stir for about 1 minute.
3. Add milk and 1/4 c parmesan cheese. Using high heat, quickly toss all ingredients until a nice milky sauce has formed (1 - 2 minutes).
4. Cook the ziti as directed. Drainbut do not rinse.
5. Toss the ziti with the butter. Add to the chicken and broccoli and toss gently. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 c parmesan.

Salad

Side Dish

Soups, Stews and Chili

Slow Cooker
Super Easy Pulled Pork for sandwiches
2 - 4 lb pork butt or pork roast
1 jar of barbecue sauce

Put the port in the slow cooker. Cover it with the barbecue sauce.
Cook on low for 4 - 5 hours.
When it's done, with a fork, just separate the pork. It easily pulls apart.
Can easily be adjusted for larger roasts. Don't keep it in too long though or the pork isn't as juicy.

Appetizers and Snacks

Cheese Bread (I think this belongs under here rather than the bread)

1 Loaf French Bread halfed
8 oz Cream Cheese
2 Tbs Mayonaise
2 Handfuls of Grated Mixed Cheeses of your choice
Green Onions chopped
Garlic Seasoning

I always just throw this together, so sorry on the exact measurements. Mix together in a bowl cream cheese, mayo, cheese, chopped green onions, and garlic seasoning to flavor. Spread over both halfs of the bread. Bake at 350 until cheese is hot and yummy.

Bread

------------------------- -----------------------

Breakfast and Brunch

Protein Breakfast Shake

1 Frozen Sliced Banana
1 Cup Milk
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Vanilla

*Blend it all in a blender. Pour in a glass. One serving.

------------------------- -----------------------

Desserts

Surprise Salad (Great for a Pot Luck)

1 pkg Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 cup Milk
1 8oz Tub of Cool Whip
3 Regular Sized Snicker Bars
3 Granny Smith Apples

*Cut up all the Snickers into small pieces. Cut up the apples into bit sized pieces (some people don't put them in with the skin, but I have before and it's not bad). Mix pudding with milk, beat well. Fold in Cool Whip. Add the cut up Snickers and apples to the salad.

******

Ricotta Cookies

1 cup Butter
2 cups Sugar
1 15 oz Ricotta Cheese
2 tsps Vanilla
2 Lg Eggs
4 Cups Flour
2 Tbs Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt

Preheat over to 350 and lightly grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl cream and sugar with a mixer until fluffy. Add ricotta, vanilla and eggs. Beat until combined. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat until dough forms.

Drop dough onto cookie sheet (same as you would choc chip cookies). Bake for 15 minutes.

------------------------- -----------------------

Drinks

------------------------- -----------------------

Main Dish

Grandes Chicken and Dumplings

1/4 cup butter
2/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 Cans Chicken Broth
1 Can of White Chicken (larger size)
1 cup Sour Cream
1 Can Pillsbury Grandes Biscuits

*In a large skillet, melt butter, mix in flour and salt. Add Chicken Broth and mix together. Add canned chicken and sour cream. When mixture begins bubbling turn down heat and add the unbaked biscuits by tearing each one in half and laying it on the top of the sauce. Cook uncovered 10 minutes, then cover and cook for an additional 20 minutes. I take a spatula from time to time to make sure the sauce isn't sticking to the bottom. Cook until the biscuits are done.

***********

Fettuccini Alfredo the Easy Way

1 8oz Cream Cheese
1 Cup Half in Half
1 Clove Garlic
1 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp grated parmesan
4 Chicken Breast cut into strips
Package Fettuccinni noodles

In a blender mix cream cheese, half in half, garlic, pepper, salt, and parmessan cheese. Blend until it's a creamy sauce. Grill chicken and cut into strips. In a sauce pan combine creamy sauce and chicken strips. Serve over fettuccinni noodles.

------------------------- -----------------------

Salad

------------------------- -----------------------

Side Dish

Blue Cheese Butter (Amazing on Steak)

1 Cube Butter Softened
1 Sm Tub Blue Cheese (I think it's like 8oz but I know it's the smaller tub)
1/2 tsp Worcershhire
1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Place entire amount onto foil spread out like a large cube of butter. Wrap and refrigerate for 30 mintues. Use this as a spread on steak. So good.

------------------------- -----------------------

Soups, Stews and Chili

------------------------- -----------------------

Slow Cooker

Basic Pot Roast

3-5 lb Roast (I like the less fatty ones)
2 Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 pkg Dried Onion Soup
1 1/4 Cup Water

*Slow cook on low for around 8 hours. Depends on the size of your roast.

Appetizers and Snacks

Game Day Dip

2 cans of Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup mix
1 can of hot dog chili (no beans)

Mix all 3 cans together in the crock pot and cook on high for a couple of hours. Serve with Tortilla scoops.

Bread

Breakfast and Brunch

Desserts

Grape Salad

1/2 pound of red grapes
1/2 pound of green grapes
8 ounces of cream cheese
4 ounces of sour cream
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts

Wash grapes throughly and set aside. Let cream cheese warm to room temperature (just to make it easier to mix), then add sour cream, brown sugar and walnuts...mix together thoroughly. Slowly add grapes to the mixture, covering them thoroughly with it. Enjoy. Cover the left overs (if there are any... he, he) and refridgerate.

Drinks

Tasty Milk Shake

1 box of instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup of crushed ice
1 cup of cold milk

Mix all ingredients together in a blender and serve with a straw. I use fat free milk and sugar free pudding mix. It tastes great and it's a healthy snack for the kiddos. They love it!

Main Dish

Easy Pasta

1 box of rontini pasta
2 jars of spaghetti sauce
1 pound of ground beef
4 cups of mozzerella cheese (shredded)

Brown ground beef and add to pot with spaghetti sauce. I add a few spices to the sauce...oregano, basil, thyme, minced garlic and minced onions. Heat sauce mixture in pot. Boil the pasta until done. Layer a 9 by 13 in. pan with sauce mix, shredded cheese, pasta, sauce mix and shredded cheese. Place in oven on high for a few minutes to melt the cheese. Allow to sit for a few minutes and serve.

Salad

Side Dish

Soups, Stews and Chili

Slow Cooker

Truly Southern Black Eyed Peas

Dried peas- wash thoroughly. Put peas in crock pot with plenty of water. Add salt, 2 uncooked slices of bacon, and cook on high for 5 hours or on low all day. If you don't like the bacon, add a little cannola oil.

Crock Pot Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup

Place chicken and soup in crock pot and cook on low all day. Make some rice and serve chicken over a bed of rice.

Mandy,
I have a banana shake recipe that is really similar. One difference is that I also add flax seeds. I have one of these for breakfast and sometimes I omit the peanut butter and add Nutella in its place......yum!
