i have the Dotto adhesive runner, i got it at walmart, i like is a lot, and i figured out that the refills from Oriental trading will work in them (i can get 2 for the price of 1 there)! I also just recently gotten quite attached to the adhesive from the Dollar Tree's scrapbooking section. it is great and it is a buck!!!

Have you seen this post? http://www.scrapbook.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/14862...

It's from the general scrapping forum.
Lots of good ideas. I am partial to the adtech runner from walmart. cheap and VERY sticky.
I made my decision after reading all those ideas!

Oh yes, I also love Glue Dots for buttons and chipboard and the heavier things. The adtech works awesome for anything paper, and on ribbon! And I use spray adhesive for vellum. I think that's it!

I have always used the Scotch doudle stick tape. Its photo safe and has never failed me. I did switch breifly to a glue. But I came back to the tape.

Each situation gets a different "best"

Photos: Herma tabs
Vellum: Creative Imaginations Scrappers Spray (or another brand of spray)
paper or tiny embellies: Tombo Green Mono multi liquid
heavy, chunky like buttons: Glue Dots

I use Herma tabs for photos and Thermo Web for everything else.

For adhering buttons, I use Glue Dots or Liquid Glass which is made by CTMH.

What I use, all have a purpose for me!! LOL

Tab Dispenser, Xyron 150, elmer's new dotter, Glue Dots , liquid glue, ZIG pens and Tacky Glue!!

I do not like adhesive runners or glue dot runners the make to much of a sticky mess!

I am pretty particular when it comes to adhesive. I love the Kokuyo dot n roller. It doesn't get stuck, so you don't end up wasting most of the roll. For other adhesives I use Glue Dots , terrifically tacky tape, and my Xyron . I love these adhesives and wont use anything else. I have tried so many with bad luck. One adhesive to stay away from is glue sticks. Terrible stuff.
HTH!
