Currently, there's not a calendar. It's on the "suggestion list", but I don't have an ETA for any changes.

The selections in My Place are static, and are not set up to be removed.

so basically, choosing a "style" is like choosing a skin for something without changing how things show up?
what if i want to get rid of some of the "boxes" in the layout? Like: Blog, Shopping, Friends, etc .... I know I won't need or use them so they'll just look cluttery if I left them there. How can i get rid of them from the style/skin?

You can't - they're part of the setup, and not designed to be removed.

Can you get more information? I'm not understanding what you're asking.

There are two places you can set a picture in My Place. If you're choosing Edit Photo, you're just changing the picture there.

Go to My Place. Click on Edit Profile, and then Avatar Settings from the next screen. Click on the Browse button, and find the file on your computer - it can be up to 512kb, and in JPG, GIF, or PNG format.

(To check the size of your file, go to Windows Explorer. Find your file, right click on the file name, and choose Properties from the pop-up menu. The file size is towards the center of the information that you’ll see, shown under Size.)

Once you've selected your file, click Proceed, and voila - an avatar!

Some systems do have an issue with Preview and avatars. If you're having difficulty, try skipping the Preview, and just choosing Proceed.

I would love to send my mother the link to get straight to my gallery so she can see my LO's but I don't know how, she is not a member here.

How do I fix the time references on messages? I went to Control Panel/Display Settings. I have my time zone chosen. When I post in a thread it's off by an hour (one hour earlier). Any ideas?

Well, I think I got it now. Eastern/Atlantic are different. Maybe it's Daylight Savings that messed me up????

Exactly. sb.com is in an area that doesn't recognize daylight savings time, so the server doesn't change for it....just fix it up manually.

Then, end of the month, fix it back!

Just a suggestion: I understand wanting each section in My Place... but are there any plans to make them moveable/repositionable? I would like to put them in a different order. Thanks!

It's been suggested. Firm plans? Not at this point, but you never know.
