Ok, I am really aging myself, but do you remember a star call Leif Garret? If I remember correctly he was Kristie Nickles' brother. The other was Shaun Cassidy and the show the Hardy Boys. Boy to look back and see them is to realize I had some bad taste back then.

ohhhh Shawn Cassidy...I loved LOVED him!!! What a hunka hunka burnin love!!!

I'm glad someone else was in love with him, cause when I mentions names like his and other from my younger years my children look at me as if I am from another planet. Then say "Who is that?" and "Did he already die of old age?"

How about the shampoo, "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific!" or the perfume "Babe" by Faberge????

Does anyone remember Sam & Libby's Ballet type shoes with the bows????

I use to have a plastic Bugs Bunny doll that you pulled a string in his back and he would say some catch phrases like "whats up doc?"
I looked for them on e-bay and it just doesnt look like I remember it.

That thing was cool though.

I remember the hair thng. Farrah Fawcett hair feathered back. I always had feathered hair. On Christmas Eve my son found the rubics cube (don't know the spelling) at my parents. I always had to take it apart to do it. I have been going through pics of my younger days and can't wait to scrap them. Laurie

I remember having my hair stand about three inches off the sides and top of my head. I would use so much Aqua net that it would not move in a hurricane. I also remember wearing stretch pants with two different socks that matched my neon shirt and a fish net top over. Also, the thin braclets the more the better. Oh boy does it bring back memories. Also the BIG i mean BIG earrings.

Speaking of cute guys from TV shows. I had the biggest crush on Kirk Cameron, from Growing Pains.

Although I am not old enough to have experienced them myself, I do remember the Monkees. My mom was in love with Davy Jones and I remember her playing their records all the time.

I must tell you a story about Davy Jones and my mom. He was at one of the casinos here in Winnipeg and I bought tickets for my mom and I to go for Mother's Day. Our seats were pretty good. Well, my mom is still so in love with him. He came out into the audience during one of his songs and was shaking peoples hands. My mom touched him to shake his hand and he just grabbed her and started dancing with her. She had always dreamed of dancing with him. Her dream had finally come. She was in tears after that and it was all she talked about for a month.

My mom loved Day Jones, too! I had pics of Michael J. Fox on my wall! And Scott Baio! I met him once at the mall! I even have a pic! He was a doll!

Ok Think WAY back here...

There was a TV series called "Family Affair" and the little girl Buffy had a Mrs. Beasley doll. I had one too and still do even though she doesn't talk when you pull her string anymore

And not quite as far back there was "Baby Alive" that would "eat" real baby food

I remember family affair...

Did anyone have the doll.. Chrissy. She had red hair and you could pull it out at the top of her head..really long?

I loved that doll..I think I ended up cutting that long part off, very sad day when I did this.

Also, did anyone have the barbie head...where you could put makeup on her and fix her hair. How fun was that!!!

I had the doll and I STILL have it! And, yes, I'll be 37 in about a week! Ugh...I'm fast approaching 40!
