Okay, So I am going to try to make my own Christmas Cards this year. I have the cards and the stamps - what stamp pads do you prefer? I have some silver metallic from my wedding, but it says that it must be sprayed with something to set it.... So, I was thinking of buying something that doesn't have to be sprayed but there are so many out there....help!!!

Oh...but I heard that Aquanet hairspray will set inks. I haven't tried it myself but you never know!

Chalk ink dries fast.

Dye based ink dries fast

Craft and pigment ink takes a long time to dry. Craft is the longest lasting in scrapbooks whereas dye based tends to fade.

Versamark is a watermark and used mostly for embossing.

Why let those ink pads go to waste when you can use the Krylon Fixatif to set the ink. I use this product on lots of ink so that it doesn't smear. Don't want to take any chances of smearing and it costs around $5 at Wal Mart, cost more at other places.
Brillance is a good ink, it gives great ink coverage and dries fast. Good luck w/the cards.

I like ColorBox for pigment and Memories for dye inks.

You can stamp in teal or a red, that looks nice and you don't have to emboss if you use color to it's advantage.
