I thought it would be fun to do a little survey and give away a couple prizes.
First, I'd like to congratulate D3inks and Jaime Lynne. You have each won a Making Memories Grand Jigsaw alphabet, Karen Foster BBQ charms and Making Memories flower brads. I'll shoot you a PM asking for your mailing address and will get them out to you ASAP.
Now for the results of the poll:
1) printed paper:
Basic Grey was the hands-down winner followed by DCWV, Scenic Route , Rusty Pickle and My Minds Eye.
American Crafts is the favorite ribbon, followed by May Arts.
3) chipboard (letters)
Basic Grey , K & Company and American Crafts are favorites.
4) chipboard (not letters)
Fancy Pants was by far the most favorite in this category. Heidi Swapp and Basic Grey were also popular.
5) alphabets (not chipboard)
Thicker was the big winner here, followed by homemade alphabets.
Tim Holtz and Colorbox were at the top of the list followed by Stampin' Up.
Making Memories is at the top of the favorite list when it comes to brads. Queen & Company and Doodlebug were also mentioned several times.
Not surprisingly, Making Memories leads this category as well. We R Memory Keepers , the company who brought us the Crop-a-dile and Big Bite, came in second.
Glue Dots and Xyron were the top winners here. Tombow and Herma (a brand I never heard of) were also listed as favorites by several voters.
10) clear stamp
Hands down, Autumn Leaves is the big winner in the category. Close to my Heart and Technique Tuesday follow right behind.
11) journaling pen
Signo and ZIG were listed over and over as the favorite journaling pens. If we break it down by color, I believe Signo is the easy winner as the white journaling pen of choice.
Jolees was the top dog in this race. Me and My Big Ideas (MAMBI) was also listed as a favorite sticker company.
Basic Grey again was a big one here, followed by Memory Makers .
Autumn Leaves surprised me by winning this category. (I don't know if I've ever seen Autumn Leaves buttons before, but I'm definitely going to look.) The second most popular button is by American Crafts .
Prima ... need I say more?
Who else but Bazzill would win this slot?
17) paper punch
This was pretty close and I didn't go in and count the exact votes. Fiskars , Marvy Uchida and Creative Memories were all popular punches in this thread.
18) die-cut machine
Cricut was die-cut winner, followed by the Cuttlebug and Silhouette (which I'm told is the same machine as the Craft Robo and Wishblade .)
Fiskars might be surprised that it came in second to Cutterbee in this category.
20) tool (not listed above)
This was too open ended to count, but several people said they like their Making Memories paper piercer.
Making Memories was the overwhelming winner here, too. It was followed by Folk Art, Delta and Apple Barrel.
22) Other scrapbooking item not listed above.
Another opened ended category, but several people mentioned they liked their Stickles.
