I am making my nephew an 8X8 scrapbook for his birthday and I want to hold everything together with binder rings without having to buy an album. Does anyone know where I can purchase binder rings?

This is a binder ring for those that may not know:

Thanks for all the help :]

Walmart often has colored ones in the office supply section!

I bought mine at Office Depot. They had colored ones and regular ones, in packs with various sizes.

I will chipboard for the album since it is sturdy enough to stand on it's own. Used my crop-a-dile to punch the holes for the binder rings and then added ribbon to cover the rings. here's a pic of the last one I made

I was just getting ready to ask the same question. I started doing a baby album and need small binder rings. I used 3 layers of the bazzil cardstock for my covers

ribbonring.com has them for 50 cents each. not sure if that's cheap or not.

NOW you tell me, Tricia! I could've ordered mine along with the BoBunny book and not gone searching office supply stores.

I've bought them at M's before but they were a little bigger than I wanted and they didnt have too much of a variety. I think I found them in the sewing section, like for embroidery floss.

So good to know they are available here! I bought what I thought was a big bag of them in all kind of pretty colors...turns out they were more like key rings...so they don't actually "open up" all the way. You have to sort of squeeze your stuff through like putting a key on a key chain. Which of course is useless for this purpose because it will tear your paper to bits.

You can also buy them at walmart... in fun colors, or just gold or silver or black. It's like 12 for $2.
