Sizzix will, so long as you aren't using the thin dies.

I just bought the Cuttlebug because it can cut felt.

I think all of the die-cutting-machines do but none of the others ...

you can cut felt with the thin dies from sizzlits but the edges aren't as clean if its thick felt ....

Yeah, I've tried it with the thin dies, but I hated the slightly ragged look it gave them. Granted, that can have its place, too!

The felt with the sticky back works better. You get a clean cut. I have cut with a Cricut, but it takes a zillion repeat. I have cut with both the sizzix and the cutterbug, however it is better to keep repeating the presure.

I didnt realize there were thick and thin dies for the Sizzix???

I have the QuicKutz and the Revolution and neither would cut the felt all the way through. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm looking for a very clean cut, no ragged edges.

There at Sizzix and Sizzixit. The sizzix is the large die cuts and the Sizzixit are tiny flat one like the one you might get for the QuicKutz handheld one. Then there are the Cutterbug, and cutterkids. They are all in the same family.

It actually depends more on the DIE than the MACHINE. Any of the good machines- Wizard, Big Shot, etc will work, but the small sizzlits, esp. with kinda detailed designs won't cut.

to cut felt with the QuicKutz
you have to take off the foam backing for cutting

I've cut felt with my Sizzix (the older version) and the Big Kick and I've also cut some of that stiff adhesive backed felt with some of my bigger paper punches:)

I would like to get a die cut machine to cut felt shapes and it sounds like the Sizzix big shot will work but I am confuessed as to what dies I get to cut the felt?

In response to P.S. I made it!

The quality of the felt is also a factor. High quality wool felt (like Papertrey Ink felt) will cut much cleaner than cheap felt.

You can only cut something that thick in the Big Kick/Big Shot with the dies labeled "Bigz" and "Originals" (examples of each below) - their other dies do not have the same steel blades and will not be able to handle the felt.
