That is what the scrapbooking store is. I ran out of basic cardstock (that wasn't in the colors of tan/beige/brown/blah blah blah) so I went to the LSS. I went in thinking i was going to spend 9.99 for the DCWV stack of paper and instead spent $75 on a whole bunch more stuff.

I bought some stickers, some chipboard, three different stacks of paper (brights, glitter, and packet full of posies), foam board, an album. Its an addiction I tell you. Thank goodness DH was ok with it!

Sounds like my last shopping trip.
Glad I'm not the only one this happens to.

I went to Walmart to get turkey and ended up spending so much more on scrapping stuff...

I completely understand...here in Alaska we have a few craft stores but my big addiction is online shopping...especially when the shipping is free and the sales are good!

At least you remebered your cardstock. I've gone and spent that much and didn't get what I needed to begin with. I've actually done it on more than one occasion. I get sidetracked so easily in a scrap store.

He he he...Mindy, I have done the same exact thing!!!!

DH is taking me away to Williamsburg this weekend. I've convinced him to take me to the scrapping store in Yorktown. I have a $25 mastercard gift card; I am sure I will spend more than that, but I can't wait!

I only buy when 1/2 off! I was ticked today, with no good sales at m's or hl!

A month ago I went into A.C. Moore on payday, mistake. I walked out spending over $350.00.

A Cricut Expressions was in my purchase. My DH just looked at me when I came home. I just smiled gave him a kiss and told him this can be my Valentine's Anniversary present.

The first thing that I made was a card for him, and then I made stuff for LO for our church. He is now happy I have it.

LOL You're certainly not alone. I went to Joannes the other day for adhesive. When I go to check out the cashier says...oh, did you just start scrapbooking? (I bought 3 paper stacks, some chipboard, stickers, brads and eyelets) So I reply...no...I just stopped in for some adhesive. Shes looks at me with the bewildered look on her face and says...wheres the adhesive??? I was like...ummm...yeah...welcome to MY world LOL

It must have been the day for it, I spent a fortune at sb.com yesterday afternoon. I can't wait for it all to arrive. My husband doesn't know yet. Won't he be surprised??
