Alcohol inks are best. I think Stazon works ok too but paint peels off and ordinary ink rubs off too.

I used a glaze on mine. So they are colored but still transparent.

I've heard you can use glimmermist on them. I've been meaning to try it. Does anyone know about this?

I've used acrylic paint with no trouble. Also used stickles to outline them. Looks pretty neat.

I recently found marking or drawing on the back with a marker, then heating them up w/an embossing gun, works really well.

I have used a little bit of Making Memories paint (although any paint should work) and used a sponge brush and just painted around the edges, kind of in a inking way. Hope that make sense! It ends up with a cool look to it. I also like to use Souffle & Glaze pens.

I have used stickles on some actually. There is a lo in my gallery titled back to school bling with stickles on hs ghost stars.

I had to leave them alone and let them dry for a bit (they smear otherwise) and I am sure if you picked at them they would peel off, but they have held up find for the 2 years that it has been that way soo far...

I attach them to designer paper and then cut out the shape!
