I've worked with lots of brands. Pebbles are great because they come in color collections (like those linked above) and a little shading/highlighting can really bring your pages to life.

I have been scrapping for 11 yrs so I bought the 1st scrapbook chalks but they didn't come in too many colors so I switched to the Stampin Up blue case that had 48. I love them. I just clicked on the Pebbles link here & boy do they have lots of colors. If I were buying some now or adding more colors to mine, I would try the Pebbles .

I prefer Stampin' Up chalks, but I will admit they're the only ones I've tried.

I have the chalklets but I havent really tried many chalks. I like to take a stamp and stamp an image using a versamark pad then rub the chalk over it. It will stick to the area where you stamped.. makes a great background. have fun!

I like the look of chalk but prefer the chalk inks because they dry and don't smear. My fave brad is by Clearsnap/Colorbox in the catseye applicators.

I've had the I Kan'dee basic brights chalks for 2 years now and I love them! The colors blend together really well, so you can get just the right shade. They're nice and bright, and they don't fade. I've used them on countless layouts, including this recent one. (btw, everyone thinks I inked this, but it's really chalk).

I looked at chalks at the local scrapbook store and the lady had these certain ones she just loves so I might buy some and try it out. She showed me examples of her work and it was AMAZING!

I have never tried Pebbles but I do have inkadinkado "bold brights" and they have worked well for me. I really like the brand Plaid as well, but i only have a small pack of those. I like to change the color of letter stickers with chalks to get more variety from my stash: [image]http://scrapbook.com/galleries/39708/view/ 1537145/-1/0/1.html[/image] I the letter stickers were a bluer color so i added a dark green to make them more of a teal color so they would match the patterned paper better.

I dont know what I did wrong to make the image not show up...
