I just got a ton of scrapbook store gift certificates, and so I'm curious - what's the one scrapping thing you can't live without? Since I'm finally getting settled into serious scrapping, I need some inspiration

I think that any begginer should have the following a graet scrapbook album what ever size you feel comfortable with (start small and work your way up), Paper Paper Paper any size any color and always at least two sheets of the same. Trimmer 12x12 because it can be used to cut any size. Adhesive Adhesive Adhesive. A great set of scrapbook markers at least primary colors to start (zig's are my favs),a great pair of fine point siccors and last but not least Pictures Pictures Pictures. What is scrapping with out a picture! (unless your making cards)LOL. Hope this is of some help for you. TAKE CARE OF YOU!!! GOD BLESS!

Totally agree with all of the other posters but I would also add a couple of good ink pads; maybe black, brown, and white. I love inking the edges of photos, mats, etc. to help them pop off the page.

1. Shape templates... I use lots of circles in my layouts.
2. Exacto knife ... I recently discovered raw chipboards and have covering them with pp and then cutting them out with my exacto.
3. Pattern papers... they are all so pretty!
4. Store bought character stickers (like the little monkeys and froggies, etc). I have a little boy and those stickers really helps add a bit of pizzazz.
