What colours would you say go best together for a lo ?

It really depends on your photos. So many colors make great combinations, but they need to match the photos you are using.

I usually use colors to bring out a part of the pictures I want to draw out.

You can also pick out one predominant color in your photo and use a color wheel to find out what other colors go well.

I was also going to suggest a color chart/wheel... it will give you a great idea of what looks good together Like the colors straight across from one another -contrasting- will look great, or if you pick three colors all right next to each other, they will look nice together as well.

Another idea is to let an embellishment or pattered paper be the inspiration for your color combinations! have fun!

I think most colors go together, you might to think about the theme of that specific page and whatever color first pops in your head as part of that theme....go with it. Then you add borders and stickers and whatever to off set that main background color!
