Last night I edged some cardstock with Color Box Silver pigment ink and it still isn't dry. If I run the edge of the paper across my finger, I get a line of ink on my skin. I can't go any further with my Christmas cards until this dries. What can I do and why does this happen?

TIA

Try a blast with a heat gun. Heat will set inks that won't dry on certain surfaces.

Pigment inks should definitely be heat set...some take a long time to air dry and some seem to never air dry!

That explains so much.... I'm so glad you asked the question.

I had that happen one time with some white pigment ink. The heat didn't help mine. I had to just let it dry by itself.

Of course, I left my heat gun at church for an ongoing Sunday School project. Why would I need it, I'm not embossing! So, I used my hairdryer and it sort of worked. I blotted the excess, wet ink and I'm good to go.

Thanks!
