I am making a pre-made 8x8 (12x12, if I have to)for a 18 year old girl and was thinking of using the trendy skull/crossbones and edgy style of paper. It is right up her alley.

I can't seem to find an album - can you please suggest some so I can buy my supplies and get started? The album may dicate the papers I use!

What about just a black album? If you find a skull die cut of some sort (or something like the rhinestone shape I found), you can always add that on to the front cover.

i like all the pirate princess and rock star stuff for that idea. You can still buy some of the 12x12 papers and cut out the designs to fit on the 8x8

I'd probably go with a solid color album (easier to find), rather than try and find one with a specific design.

I am a punk rock girl myself, I like the DCWV Rock star collection, my gallery has some pages I made with the collection. I think they come in 8x8 too.

yeah, they the dcwv does come in 8x8. you could always cut down a 12x12 to size too. the Rusty Pickle pirate princees stuff mentioned above is great too, and double sided.

I like the black album ideas too. I couldn't find a Halloween album so I bought a plain black Pioneer "leather" album and put a Halloween rubon on the cover...it has never worn off.
Also for inside I recommend the Tim Holtz Grungeboard elements-swirl. There are some skull and crossbones in there as well as 7 other cards of cool stuff. I love the grungeboard and it is easy to use and paint or ink or whatever.
