I forgot to answer your question from the other day. I do get real pumpkins and the city composts them after. You just have to dump them in the right spot for them.

Hello! Busy day here.
My flight home was delayed by 3 hours, so I didn't get home until 1am. Then I had to get up for the dentist appt this morning.

I had a great weekend with my family. We had beautiful weather Friday and Saturday, which was good since we were outside both days. Sunday was cold and raining.

My parents and Lily are coming here for a few days after Christmas!! It is Lily's first visit to our home, and she has been nagging to come here for a few years. I don't know what she's expecting - probably butterflies and fairies everywhere

Sounds like everyone had the first miserable weather of the year. It was cold in TX too. Record low on Saturday.

We always throw our pumpkins away in the trash when we're done. I haven't bought any to put outside in a few years, not since some hoodlums picked one up and threw it at our glass door during trick or treat.
I don't know why some parents raise idiots.

Di, the trick or treaters shouldn't start arriving that early. Ours don't go out until about 7:00. Don't leave your candy out, or there won't be any left by the time you get home.

They know that if they want candy, they need to wait until people are home from work.
