into a D-ring album?? I'm looking at buying one like the one below for my Project 365 which will have about 53 page protectors once I'm done. Does anyone know if they will all fit into one album??
Thanks!!

That's what I'm using April. You can fit more than 53 protectors. I got over 70 into another project.

I've been thinking about switching to these albums too. Is 70 page protectors about the max?

Cathy, you have to factor in that I don't do many "bumpy" pages, so I probably get more pages in most albums versus those that love chipboard and such.
I really don't recommend making such huge albums. They're not the most comfortable to put on your lap and look through.
I'm using a similar album for my Project 365. I have everything ready for my pix and journaling. Plus I have several more page protectors at the back of my album. Just in case.

I did one with 68 pages. Like Vivian said, I wouldn't recommend it...I would have been afraid to drop it on my foot. It would break something.

Man...I don't know how you guys do it! I have an American Crafts D-ring album, and I could only get 27 protectors (so 54 pages) in there and have it still close flat. My pages aren't the flattest or the bulkiest, they are kind of in the middle, some might have a flower or chipboard, but some are flat.

Oh, for that other album, I ended up having to rig the rings to not open after I was done adding pages. Used white duct tape. Even though the rings have a male/female connectors to keep them together, the weight of all those pages was too much and they'd slip apart.
Never thought of dropping one on my foot. Ouch! That could be serious enough for an ER visit.
My mother complains that it's too heavy so she slides it over to herself to look through.

I love the dring albums but the number of pages that fits definitely varies by how lumpy my pages are.
And re: the weight - a friend says she is making hers light so that when she is old she won't mind having them in her lap and she will still be able to lift them.
Definitely something to bear in mind.
I have one of those Pioneer box albums that should hold about 40 and at just 10 it is a little over full.

Thank you all so much! My Project 365 pages will all be flat (no embellishments of any kind), so I think I'll go with that album...
I appreciate the advice!

Good luck on your Project 365! What a great concept! I'm making 2 pre-made Project 365 albums for baby shower gifts right now! I think it'd be so fun to take a picture of your little tyke every day during their first year!!!

Speaking of D-ring albums, if anyone is looking for a good deal, I saw a really pretty 12x12 brown/teal/ivory striped one at Tuesday Morning for $5 the other day.

Wow, that's amazing!! I'd love to find one. We have a Tuesday Morning in our mall, so I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the tip!
