I was wondering how to attach these. I like the idea of using the brads

Holly,,,,,

sorry, couldn't resist. Anyway, some people will use adhesive that will show through vellum on the corners or edges and then cover up those areas with cardstock or flowers or something.

I've been known to color brads with either marker or embossing powder.

it depends on the vellum. I've used it before and had it show through.

I use a product called Frosted Splits from Creative Memories. It is very similar to the Velum Tape from Scotch and I love it. You don't see the tape through the Vellum at all. (I rub over the tape with my fingers or ruler to give it more of a transparent look)

I have also used the the Frosted Splits from Creative Memories. I love them too! Fiskars also makes some type of double stick tape to use... I threw out the box so I can't give you the name.

If you are just putting it in front of white paper, Creative Memories has an adhesive called Frosted Splits, that are just for that and you can't see anything, it is awesome!

Glue Dots also has something called vellum dots, also just for that.

If you want to get creative, you can always use brads to adhere them!

I've always used either brads or eyelets to adhere my vellum to my LO. I recently bought a tape runner adhesive that is specifically for vellum, it's made by Tombo . I find it works well, except when you are gluing to a dark colored paper. It tends to show through if the paper behind the vellum is dark.

you can use all of the above glues/tapes and then what i do is adhere it to another piece of cardstock - to get a matte look which is nice to - sometimes I staple the edges with the different colored staples

i have also wondered about what everyone else is using to do this. i've mostly used brads to attach my vellum quotes but i'm going to look into some of the glue/tape mentioned above. thanks for asking this question

brads
eyelets
cover the Glue Dots with a flower
tuck into a pocket tag
leave edges long enough that you can wrap around the bottom of a picture and adhere on the back side
run through a xyron
stitch around the quote with embroidery floss
use Glue Dots on buttons and adhere on the edge of the vellum
lots of embellishments can be strategically placed on the edge to hold it down

Good luck!!
