One of the girls, SeesterK (Heidi), on VLB (Very Laid Back) mention we should get together since several live somewhat close. Several pages later on the thread we decided we better start a COF (circle of friends) Thread while we plan our trips.

So we had the first trip on July 18 - 20, 2008 in Ohio.

The baby is still hanging out inside Mommy. Go figure. Oh well. I still think it is for the best that I stayed home... and my drs office agreed.

All things happen for a reason anyway. I truly missed you girls, scrapping, food, fun, and CHOCOLATE... but I am a firm believer that all things happen for a reason.

My aunt's (mom's brother's wife, so by marriage) mom passed away last week and the showing/funeral were Friday and Saturday. My aunt is a great friend AND a great scrapper... ask Sarah... she is super-talented and sells the scrapping kits she designs. Long story short, while funerals are not fun, it was nice to be around to support her and the rest of the fam.

Rest assured, when the next get together is planned... my calendar will be marked

Tomorrow is a day of dr appts... up early to take one of our dogs to the vet. Sadie has a tumor that needs to be removed and we are hoping for the best that it has not already metastasized and that it comes out benign. (Any happy, healthy puppy thoughts would be appreciated!)

Then Ry and I are heading out to breakfast then to my appt. I'm 39 weeks this week and ready as I'm going to be... although I'm more patient these days than my husband! I just want the baby here safe and sound and don't want to intervene medically unless we have to (I'm not against being induced if need be, but there is no need to talk about that just yet because things are good on me and baby's end!)

I've been home awhile now, spending time with the kiddos. I swear they grew while I was gone!

Rylie loves the page Sarenna colored for her Heidi! She was excited to get something from my friends! And of course, she again said that she gets to come with me next time. She's so sweet! I have a year to come up with an excuse to cover WHY she can't come next time! Mason ran to me when I came home and said "HEY mommy!". I asked him if he missed me, and he yelled out "YEAH mommy, I la(love) you" in true boy fashion. Oh the tears I fought back...

And oh yeah....WTF is this thing?? Only in Michigan!!!!
