Here is my hat for the Mad Hatter's Tea (for Bosses Day next week):

Snoopy's Doghouse By Sbartist

Still working on the attorney's wig/hat - but I am doing that at work when time permits. Lots of paper curls on it that I am rolling on a pencil.

Oh Bonie - I love the snoopy doghouse! It is so "you" - makes me think of your snoopy tat.

You did a beautiful job on it - I can't believe how elaborate it is! I'm very impressed!

Have a good day Raquel!

Bonnie - they didn't censor out anything - I just didn't want to put my last name there. All of you who know me know what it is.

I could not imagine what they might censor, and yep your last name duly noted

Thanks for the comments on my paper hat.

Running in circles with insurance companies right now on our rental property. Aside from our personal home insurance going up hundreds of dollars.

The same company insured (brokered) a policy for our rental house for $700.00. We were out of the state when we closed and took the policy - they knew that. We ordered it from South Dakota and they knew that.

Two weeks later they cancelled us becuase the house was vacant. Of course it was vacant. We didn't get home for several weeks and then had work to do to it but we told them that!

We tried to get it reinstated and they changed the rate to $836.00 per year. I can live with that.

Then they said we had to have a 4.0 inspection and recommended someone to do it. He came out and wrote the report. It came back excellent - both the plumbing and electrical are perfect and so marked on the report.

Now the insurance said that the home was built in 1975 so the price will be $620 a quarter. That is $2,500 a year? From $700 to $2,500 because the perfectly good plumbing which their inspector said in writing is in good condition - they want it replaced for no reason?

Anyway, I'm wasting my day today calling other insurance companies.

So frustrating to go through all the info.

Sounds like so much bs-run around on the insurance for the new house Henri, but I know you'll find something better.

I'm in pre-grrr mode ... went in last night and noticed the new person, my replacement, her name had a line through it on the schedule. Asked a coworker and she said that she never showed up. I haven't said a word on the outside possibility that they may handle this fairly, which I doubt, so I'm waiting for the next round of 8p to 4am's with a couple of grave shifts thrown in to pop up next to my name. Bah humbug!

Wifi seems to be working this morning.

Love the monster mash character and the hat, Bonnie!

Boo to stupid insurance stuff, Henri, hope you got a better deal.

Ugh, Raquel, I don't know how you can handle so many overnights!

Hi Amy and Bethany! And I guess Terri's just disappeared completely, so I hope it's nothing too dire.

Yesterday started out a bit rainy with the possibility of lightning, so we decided to just relax and do our last day at Disney on Saturday instead. It's nice having the luxury to be flexible like that. Tonight is the Halloween party thing and I've instructed R that he is in charge of taking pics of Supergirl!

Henri - did you get the insurance stuff straightened out? I do not envy having to go rounds on the phone, I am currently (more like Craig) is doing that with a dental bill from way back when I was no less than double covered.

Raquel - a new person does not show up for work, go figure. The work ethic of a lot of people just is not the same as it once was. Hopefully, you will not get saddled with cr@ppy shifts.

Kara - have a great last couple of days at Disney. Can't wait to see R's Supergirl photos and your layouts you are going to make. You totally need to pose like you are flying through the air and then photoshop it!

Waving to Amy, Bethany and our lost Terri.

Yippee - it is Friday, Friday, Friday. Now to just wait for the 4:30 whistle...

Bonnie, the hat is awesome and y you did an amazing job with the girl. I've seen the stamp and thought she was very cute. The other night, mom made chinese porridge which is basically a thick, rice soup. One of my favorite child weather dinners. They're gonna do a sesamoidectomy and volar plate reconstruction.

Henri, those tests do not sound pleasant at all.
I got my sb order yesterday!

Kara, can't wait to see supergirl!

Hi b, r, t!

Book sale today. That's about it. A couple of stops I need to make too.

Great idea, Bonnie! But I don't think we got a pic like that :(. Maybe on Halloween, I'll wear the costume again. We have LOTS of candy, and we only went to 3 or 4 of the trick-or-treat stations, there were about a dozen of them. Last day today, we've done all the things we wanted to at least once so today will be re-riding the best ones, shopping, dinner at one of the better restaurants inside at which we also get priority seating for the big fountain and light show tonight, then fireworks, then we'll have exhausted ourselves thoroughly, I think

Have a marvelous Saturday, ladies!!

Amy - I tried to look up the surgery you are having (first off I cannot even pronounce it), what exactly will they be doing, it sounds so complicated and painful just to pronounce. The only thing I could find about sesamoidectomy was related to the foot and volar plate (related to a fracture) reconstruction, maybe I am just researching it wrong? You have not even had surgery yet but you have been in my thoughts all week.

Kara - you and Robert have a great day at Disney and take lots of photos of course!

Waving to Raquel, Henri and Bethany - what are you all up to today?

Willie is going to work about five hours of OT today - good for him.

Craig has a doctors appointment at 11:00 for his sinuses so we are going to be running around doing errands today working around his apointment.

Raquel - I bought this entryway shelf at Ross yesterday morning before work and it has three slots and I found two tins at Ross (need to find one more) that fit in it to store my stash of stuff so it is not out in the open - right now it would go so well with your shabby chic bedroom and will take a picture to post, but I am going to be redoing it so it fits more in with our LR/office space. I kept thinking this is so Raquel

Amy - sesamoids - is it related to your thumb? Sorry to be so nosey, but after having bilateral hand surgery myself I am just very curious.

Here is the entryway shelf:

Entryway Shelf By Sbartist

It will sit on the shelf upside down like it is now, I am going to remove the hooks and fill in the holes, paint and cover the tins to incorporate into our living space.
