Michaels is selling the pink Slice for $39.95. All the Slice cards are only $5 each.
I had purchased a Slice at AC Moore last summer for $50 and returned it after reading some of the negative posts on this forum. I decided to pass on the Michaels sale. It looks like all the Slice products are being discontinued.

Michaels is not longer going to carry the Slice machine and accessories but as far as I know, the company is going strong.
As far as I knowt MM is going to keep going strong and keep making Slice Machines. If I had to choose between my Cricut and my Slice - I hate to say it but I would choose my Slice. I enjoy using it so much more - so much easier.
