expect - fun, good times & to come home with less money, but plenty of new & fantastic scrapbooking goodies!
And don't forget to be on the lookout for the Make & Take projects!
On that note, Have Fun!!

p.s. Bring a bag, Lunch money & or be there early, if at all possible! HTH!

They are fun! Here are my suggestions:
Wear comfy shoes
Bring a bottle of water (the ones at the convention halls are usually expensive and may have long lines to get them)
Take a bag that will fit 12x12 paper and bring a firm piece of cardboard to put in the bag with the paper (to keep it from getting bent)
Bring scissors, a small trimmer, and adhesive for make-and-takes
Do not take any wheeled carts to shop with...a lot of convention centers won't allow them in the shopping area
Make a list of particular items you'd like to find. I went once without it and totally forgot something I had been meaning to get.
I could probably think of more, but that's all my brain can come up with right now! Have fun!

Oh, another one...I don't like to carry a purse when I go. I prefer to just take my wallet. One less bag to worry with that way!
This one goes without saying...don't forget your camera!

Definately bring your camera. Take pics of any ideas that you think you may want to use later on.

Start at the dollar booth....
I would suggest to walk the floor first fast to see what specials each vendor has (they all have something and the deals go fast!) and grab the ones you want...along the way make notes of the booths you want to return to for the make and takes and/or more shopping and return to them.
Take pre addressed labels if you have them for all the drawings each booth has (something with your name, addy, phone and email) otherwise you spend too much time filling out slips...but be sure to enter them all! You may be lucky.
Some conferences put numbers on the floor around the whole shopping area and if the one you go to has them be sure and keep your ear open for the signal to run and stand on a number to win a prize.
And I agree...take food....it takes to long in the lines and the food is expensive and not so great.

Do not get overwhelmed. If something seems too hard put it aside and work on it when you get home. You can always come up with your own ideas.

I couldn't believe all the wonderful stuff they had.=]I got two packets of 12x12 cardstock for $20.I also got the Once Upon a Time 12x12 stack for $16 and got the matching 4.5x6.5 for free. The best part is that I was able to keep to my budget and I'm already planning to save lots so I can spend more.I got a bunch of little things too.My cousin went with mom,my dd and myself. My cousin bought 2 packets of paper and a dcvw stack and we decided to split them in half so I'd say we both got lucky in the paper department.Thank you for the ideas ladies!!!!=]
