Where can you find the 12x12 zip lock bags for 12x12 LO's?

I got a tote today that I have had my eye on since Aug and wanted to put together a few pages to put in the tote to work on when me and or DD end up the hospital or have something to get done. I just need something to put everything in.

I got mine at Walmart. They are Hefty brand, 2.5 gallon bags.

I buy them at Albertsons, Walmart, Fred Meyer, Safeway etc. They are called 2 gallon ziploc bags. They are not sold in the generic style, for instance, not the walmart brand "great value" or "sam's choice". I always buy the Hefty ones. I use them for lots of scrapping supplies and "page kits".
Hope this helps.

My WM does not carry the big size. I need to remember to check the WM when I go to the big city.

He he. I bought mine at Zellers in case any Canadians are checking this thread. It was a while ago as these bags are quite sturdy for storing just a few sheets of paper in them.

I have bought mine at a non-chain supermarket store, they are to find in my area (Silicon Valley) and expensive for 15 to a box.

I have been using the cropper hooper envelopes. see below. M's carries one pocket variety that work as well.

Most of the bags aren't acid free, so if you are storing things for a while be aware of that. I have a friend who orders them in bulk on-line. She sells page kits so she just orders a couple extra hundred for me too.

I think I found mine at either Target or HL. They are made for scrapbooking. I have one that "zips" shut and one that has a snap down flap.

The only ones I have found are store brand (Fred Meyer) 2 gallon size. They are 'regular' ziploc-type bags.

Dollar Tree now sells some bigger storage bags (although they are like 1 or 2 in a box for $1).

I often use the plastic craft envelopes that are usually only $1 each.

Great ideas. I'm going to try them. I've only used the Cropper Hopper envelopes, cases, etc., but think the bags would be great to take things to crops, etc.
