I have a picture of one in my gallary - but darned if I've figured out yet how to post it on a thread with all the changes! It'll be in pictures though, it's blue.

I got the instructions off of Youtube, they have lots of ones, some easier some harder, some nicer, some not so much. You just have to go through a few to find one you like.

I've never made one, but believe it or not I have a 27 year old one in my basement! It was a gift for DH baby shower and his mom passed it on to us with some of his other baby things.

An sb.c neighbor, Sunnydi , has pictures of one she made on page 5 of her gallery. Her daughter is expecting, and she's got all sorts of darling baby-stuff in her gallery.

No way Hotroding Scrapbooker! Thats too cool! I thought they were a newer thing!

I rolled diapers from the folded side and put a rubberband around the center. I don't remember how many it took me, but I did a two layered one. I put a piece of wide ribbon around where the rubberbands were and a decorative ribbon on top of that one. I did a little topper and thats it! It was monkey themed and I loved how it came out. PM me your e-mail addy and I can e-mail you a picture if you like. Good luck!

I made one for my sister in law. It actually wasn't all diapers :). I used lots of onesies, pants, socks, binkis, diapers, and spoons, and i think there was a bottle somewhere in the mix.lol.I do have a couple pics in my gallery, I think they're on the second page.

Hope it helps. Any questions, let me know!

Hi, Deb. Here's my first ever, made in July. I'd be happy to help with any questions you have. You might find my description helpful, too. Just let me know.

I've made 2 diaper cakes, they are really simple. All I did was roll the disposable diapers and then tape them. When I had the amount I wanted for each tier I then wrapped some ribbon around them to tie them together. For the second cake I wrapped baby blankets around each tier to finish them off. Then I just tucked in some toys, socks, utensils and a cake topper. The socks I rolled to look like roses.

I have one in my gallery too. For the most part they are pretty easy to make. The cake I made, I un folded the diapers, and tapped one end to another diaper, so it made one long line of diapers. I used a paper towl roll, and taped the first diaper to it, then just wrapped the diapers around it. They are fun to decorate too! Have fun!

I've also seen the diapers "fanned" instead of rolled.
