Hi girls! I finally got my BigKick working again. At first they sent me a new crankshaft. Then when Dan was helping me put it back together, we realized that the bearing pieces were breaking apart. Soooo, I called Sizzix again and told them what was happening and she put the new bearings in the mail. I have had good service from them. So, today we had a few minutes to put the whole thing back together again. And it works just fine. I would advise using some grease of some kind every now and then in the gears to keep it from freezing up like mine did. It sounds like it is not unusual for that to happen, according to the lady that I spoke to in CS.
We are off to our church's Valentine's banquet. It is hosted by our youth and they use it as a fundraiser. They all dress up in white shirts, black slacks and ties and serve the whole meal. They asked me if I would take pix, so I hope they turn out. I'll try to be back later tonight.
So today I ran to go pick up the lil ones pictures and then went next door to Party City. Like a freaking idiot I left his pictures in the shopping cart I don't know HTF I did this when all I had was one bag to take out and didn't realize until I got home. Thankfully they found them and I called DD to go by and pic them up. Such a DA move thou!! lol
We go down because we know the Vasuclar Surgeon is coming in to tell MIL that he has to go and cut the ulcer out or she is going to lose her leg.
He does and tells her she will need to go into a skilled nursing home for intervenous anitobiotics that will be needed for at least 2 weeks and a wound pump that will be needed for about the same amount of time. She starts right away with no she is not going at all. He can do the surgery but she will then go home. He says it can not be done that way and he will go ahead and schedule the sugery and tells us to talk to her. DH then leaves and says he has to go the the bathroom!!! REALLY DUDE. So she starts in..no she is not going, we can do it, we do not love her, we treat her poorly ect, ect.
I am talking back to her and finally shut the door since I am using my stern LOWERED voice. Once I shut the door we hear a crash in the next room. NOt us. I tell her she is being stupid and we are trying to help her but she is making way to hard!!!
DH comes back and knocks...the door then stays open. I hear that they are calling security and think it is for the next room....DH and I walk out to talk and see what is going on...Door next door is shut. Soon we go back in and security shows up. 4 of them....one comes in and wants to know what the slamming was. MIL tells them it is next door, we do not know. Pretty soon they bring a Dr. in and tell me if I can not behave and stop slamming the door and yelling they will be escorting me off the property!!!!!!!!!
I just sit there and listen to this Dr go on and on and we were doing no yelling, not even MIL, we did shut the door but only to not disturb anyone.
Finally he is done and wants to know if I understand. I told him No but that is fine. I was not going to say yes as I knew someone was going to be doing a report. LOL. So firm got me 4 security guards. Super crazy!! There was something going on next door as a security guard was there for another hour.
We spent the night because they did surgery and she was not done till about 8 pm then she had a hard time coming around. About 4 am I woke up in sever pain..no idea but it kept getting worst. By 7 I decided I needed to go to an ER myself. I do not make the decision lightly. Thought it might be an appendicitis. So I ended up there all morning. It was a kidney stone moving down. I never knew I had them. DH keep going between his Mom and me. He was one tired dude.
OMG you have more control than I do Gigi, I would have said, Excuse me Dr, the door slamming was next door would you like to go there and repeat your lecture". Boy you must be scary looking (I didn't think so from your pic) to need 4 security guards.
Hope all goes well with MIL and that she enjoys her time in care and decides maybe it won't be too bad to live there after all
