A circle of friends LO is the challenge at the journaling junkie blog. Maybe check it out? http://journalingjunkie.blogspot.com/

Well I can't help with colors because I am one that has to match my paper to teh colors in the picture. If it would help you to find paper or colors you could take all your friends out and do a fun photo shoot with them. As for a LO idea I don't have a sketch to share but what if you did something where you have one of them in their own picture and also one of you by yourself. You could put one of them in each corner and you in the center (maybe the one of you is a circle and they are squares) then you could do hidden journaling that would go under each of their pictures where you journel about why that particular firend is special to you. Then just tilte the page with something fun about friends and add a few embellies.

You could do a grid pattern layout if you like the look. It's a great way to get a good number of pictures on a page, as well as having room for journaling and embellishments, without looking too crowded. Here are a couple I've done recently...

Hope that helps!

Hi Amii-May!

I had this kind of trouble to when I first got started. I created a two page layout of a wonderful group of friends of mine making fun faces from pictures that were taken during Thanksgiving. I just used fun colors that I thought represented our friendship. I will take pictures and post them to my gallery if you would like to come and take a peek. Scrapbooking is about making the perfect layout, its about having fun and seeing what inspires you when you lay the pictures out. Give me about 10 minutes or so and I should have them up for you. Take care!

Beth

did you try uploading the pic and using the "scrap by color" tool here on sb.com?

Why not do a fun two pager? that way you can fit all of your friends in it, and to make it easier on yourself lift one or go get a sbooking magazine and lift one from there, choose fun pp sience you are a young girl. Have fun with it, I did one page for my dd and her db and it is youthful and fun and bright just like them, you can see it in my gallery. (EVER AFTER)is the title of the lo. Why don't you try doodling/ it's fun and it adds a personal touch to your los.

I would recommend doodling and hand journaling. It will give the page a fun look. Also, use bright colors. There are actually several papers out there that look like doodles. I'll link some products below.
