I'm finally starting my cruise layouts from 2008, and have pages for a stop in Nice, France and Monaco/ the casino in Monte Carlo...ya'll have any pp reccomendations?

Thinking it should be light and airy but classy.

I love this paper pack for photos like that. It's airy, and very pretty. It's got lots of brushwork and details which make me think of the architecture of buildings in Europe.

What about some of the Making Memories travel pps? I love the Passport collection:

I like the tear and layer shades of blue and bluish gray with vellum for a more realistic ocean. You could use it as a background. If you are planning a number of pages for this trip you could use the tear and layer for each background piece to tie the layouts one to another.

Doesn't sound like you hit Paris, right? I have embellies left from a DT of Paris, France from PaperHouse Productions a few years ago.

no, did not get to Paris

thanks for the responses ya'll..I do have Periphery and Passport...gonna pull them out.

Was in M's today and saw some MME that had a vintage look for travel, just not sure if that is the route I want to go.

That's the problem with trying to scrap a 'trip of a lifetime'...you really want the perfect papers!

I would choose lots of different papers for the different places. I truly get what you mean by wanting the perfect paper for your trip. I wouldn't limit myself to a specific style. Little Yellow Bicycle has great papers for travel too.
