I have a want to do some journaling on a chipboard embellishment that has somewhat of a glossy finish. What type of pen would you recommend I use? I'm afraid that if its a gel pen the letters will smudge.

Slick Writers by American Crafts work on everything!
You could also try a Sharpie or Copics (if you have them).

The Glaze pens by Sakura also work; as a bonus, they have a slightly raised 3-d effect and a high gloss.

thanks everyone. I tried the glaze pen and it smudged a bit. I'm such a neat freak that although its probably not too noticeable or that big of a deal it's driving me nuts! Oh well-next time I'll know not to use anything with a somewhat gloss finish.

I'm sorry! I had no idea it would smudge.
