I was wondering what your favorite brand of album is and why. I love Creative Memories!!!! But, I don't want to drop $50 to get my son's scrapbook started. Just wondering what is tried and true that maybe doesn't cost quite as much!

Thanks!

Basically any D ring - you can insert layouts easily in any of them!

My favourite happens to be We R Memory Keepers faux leather ones:

They have AMAZING colours:

And are around $30.

Manda is ALWAYS right! I love those albums. I get mine at HL with a coupon. Makes it so much cheaper. I like the fabric ones, not the chipboard alterable ones. Too much work! LOL

I ditto the American Crafts D ring albums -- love 'em. Especially when there's are sale on them -- which does happen occasionally on this site.

Another vote for American Craft d-ring albums. Sturdy, attractive, inexpensive and easy to personalize!

I found no matter how many spacers I put in my post albums, they always look really skinny at the spine and fat at the other end.

Will the D-Ring albums fix this problem?

Absolutely! I love my D rings. I also like the SEI 8x8's for smaller finite albums (a tribute album, a recipe book, etc.). They've got an alterable cover.
