WOW grand canyon - how far is that from you Bridget? Where is he going to college?

The Bear had PreK graduation last night. I never even thought about taking tissue - opps should have. Dang those teachers just should not talk. They get me everytime. Teared up yesterday afternoon when we gave B's teacher the gift from the entire class too. She was such a great teacher. We've been so lucky so far with teachers for B, every one of them has been a perfect fit for B.

Well I'm off to clean up after 5th grade graduation, supposed to be 4th grade parents but only 2 of them stepped up so 3rd grade is helping too. After that B has an awards ceremony and then I can chill for a bit. This week has been insane between being the last week of school and all day work meetings Tuesday and Wednesday I've been just a little insane.

Grand canyon is a lot further than cali lol he hasn't made a decision yet he has to this weekend. He really wanted to go to CO school of mines but finances won't permit it. I'm so sad about that. Maybe he can transfer next yr.

Sounds like a super busy week Val, I don't know why it always seems to go like that, but it does for some reason.

What a cool job, Bridget, working at the Grand Canyon. I want to visit there so badly. I went when I was young. Just after 5th grade, but you don't appreciate stuff at that age. Anyone ever heard of Olympics of the Mind? Now it's called Destination Imagination. Anyways, I was on a team that built a structure out of balsa wood. The structure had to follow certain criteria and then you would place weights on it until it broke. Also had to have a skit that went with it. Ours was a Miami Vice theme. And then there was also a brainstorming portion as well. Anyways my team won districts and state and got to go to nationals in Flagstaff, AZ. We drove and that's how I got to see the Grand Canyon. Good times...
