I am tired of struggling with my postbound albums, so I am finally going to switch over to D ring. Any suggestions as to the brand I should purchase? I was looking at the American Crafts brand, and it seems to be really sturdy. Has anyone used them and if so, do you like them?

Thanks!

I haven't used the American Crafts brand, but I did take advantage of sb.com's album sale yesterday. Buy 3 albums get the 4th one free. I ordered 4 of the 12x12 American Craft albums. I agree with you they look very sturdy.

I use the AC ones. I don't get the clothlike ones, but the ones that are heavy vinyl (only because that's the look I prefer). Since I found them, that's all I buy!

I love my American Crafts D-rings! The only thing that I have to get over is the window they have in the front. Need to do something with them...

LOVE the AC D Rings... the "no snag" is really nice. Never had a problem with them!

I wouldn't hesitate to use either the AC or the WRMK but wanted to throw out that just this past week at J's I found a DCWV 3-ring and picked it up. Very pleased with it as well!

I have one D-ring. I'm not sure what brand it is. I seem to have a problem with my pages kind of drooping out the bottom when I pick it up. Anyone else have this problem? Are my pages too heavy? Will it stop doing that as it gets fuller?

I too use American Crafts and like them the best for my type of scrapping. I make lots (too many now) of thick pages with fat embellies and flowers. The AC page protectors seem to hold these fat pages best without squishing them...they're roomier. I got some gorgeous Basic Grey D rings but their p.protectors are not as roomy and they squish my layouts so I will have to save those for my non-fat pages. Also the BG rings seem smaller so the books won't hold as many layouts.
It certainly is a heck of lot easier to add and move pages in a D ring binder.

I use the American Crafts one and I love it. I mainly got it because my bf likes to help but he drew the cover for me. I think you would like it. It is big and you could fit a lot of pages into it.

Ditto. I switched from postbound to 3ring; late in 2010 and am not looking back.

Yes I have used them but, I like the leather looking ones, the fabric ones are great too.
also you might consider the new ones that Joanns have they are a big fat D ring holds about twice as much as the regular one I can send you the upc if you want.
