Hope your husband is feeling better Melody!

Tonight I'm doing my version of a German flammkuchen that a local restaurant makes with feta cheese and peppers, YUM!!!

And when she says flammkuchen, she means pizza.

(I had to look that up. Looks really good!)

We had chicken and broccoli alfredo last night. Boring.

No idea what the plan is for tonight. Tomorrow we're going to the fair. Fried cheese. On a stick. I've been dreaming about it.

Hey now - I LOVE chicken/broccoli alfredo!

I had potato rounds topped with refried beans, cheese, lettuce, black olives, and sour cream.

We're trying a made-up crock-pot recipe: lots of onions, italian sausages and cauliflower with cheese sauce. Just sounded like it would be good. And crescent rolls.

Have fun at the fair!

I should start cooking dinner NOW but I'm still undecided...definatly going to be something quick and easy out of the freezer.

Instant food here - Trader Joe's ready-made refrigerated chicken lasagna. We have to leave soon because we have tickets to see Helen Jane Long tonight, whoot!

Chicken fries, french fries (sweet potato fries for the kid since he likes those better), peas, and dinner rolls. Yeah, all frozen stuff, but it has been an insane week and I am POOPED!

We had salad, fresh spinach tortellini from Trader Joe's, and frozen turkey bolognese from TJ's because I slept very poorly last night and I'm exhausted! And DH has a cold so he doesn't care very much.

Tonight were going out with another couple to our favorite brewery/restaurant. They just got to Germany so I havn't even met them yet, but the hubs has known and worked with him at a previous duty station. It's always nice to get out and meet new people!

I mad some yummy chicken thighs last night. Chopped some garlic and onion and rosemary, nuked it for 20 seconds to soften, mixed with S&P and olive oil and stuffed it under the skin of the chicken. Rubbed more olive oil and S&P on the thighs and baked them on a wire cooling rack.

OMG, the flavor was amazing. Served with sweet potatoes and corn.

Tonight is meatloaf.

Sounds like tasty chicken!

I picked up a couple of large Dungeness crabs at CostCo yesterday. Really not sure yet if I want to make crab cakes, enchiladas, crepes, tacos, or what. But it'll be dinner
