lol .. I wont hold it against you Cassie lol
My sauce is one thing that I really go all out on .. and I dont make it but maybe every 4 months or so .. so I guess for that one occasion I can splurge on the meat right .. (I brown sausages(whole) and pork chops and chicken breasts with the garlic and that is in the sauce for the first 4-5 hours. The pork and chicken come out and are dinner the first night in some form. The sausage goes back in with the meatballs (cooked) and simmer for a good long while. THen they sit in the fridge overnight and then simmer more the 2nd day.
Do you do anything similar with the bulgur for meatloaf?

I have never made meatloaf, but I imagine you could. Just never was a fan as a kid and neither was DH so we don't make it. The bulgur really is very subtle in the dish. Once everything is mixed you don't know it is there at all. One thing I do, do is add a lot more spice to the meatballs, but that is more because I love spicy meatballs.

Salmon burgers and salad tonight. It must be fish week for us. The Costco salmon burgers are pretty darn good.

Bag Chili mix from Menards! lol All I have to do is add ground beef, water, and tomato sauce. I'll check in later and let you all know if it's any good.

Still eating the sauce. Probably not enough time to throw together a lasagna
so probably just a cass bake in the oven with noodles/sausage and cheese with the sauce.

The bag chili mix wasn't bad--will do in a quick pinch but you can do pretty much the same thing with Ortega taco seasoning packet, tomato soup, can of beans and water with ground beef. Not as good as homemade of course, nothing ever is.
