While I much prefer wood-mounted stamps, I do have a lot of clear stamps as well. It used to be I'd always end up "losing" one on my scrap table as I worked, only to later find it stuck on the back of a piece of cardstock (or the cat). I finally hit on the idea of keeping a 5x7 acrylic picture frame on my table. As I stamp, I immediately stick the stamp onto the picture frame, where it stays until I'm ready to put them away. No more lost stamps for me!

Now THAT is an idea I can use! I have a set of acrylic alphas and lost one to the abyss of my scrap space... and they do disappear in the mess way too quickly! Thanks!

Great idea! I have a large number of acrylics, too. It's so frustrating to know you put one on the desk and it's gone!

That's a great idea. I don't lose mine because I tend to put them right back on the sheet as soon as I am done stamping them. However, this is also a fab idea if you plan to use the same stamp multiple times. Rather than going through the hassle of putting it back in the packaging each time, you can just slap it onto the frame. Thanks! I never would have thought of that!

My problem is that my scrapstation is in the basement and I need to go upstairs to wash my stamps. Especially white inks since they're so thick and sticky. Guess I need a picture frame upstairs by my sink.

I keep mine stuck to the block, until I'm ready to clean it.

Great idea. I'm like Linda.....I usually keep the stamp on the block until I'm ready to wash it. But sometimes I've got a lot of stamping going on and I hate stopping to clean a stamp and put it away when I'm in the middle of a big stamping project.

You can use the stamp cleaner instead of having to go all the way to the sink to wash the stamps. I bought mine at M's but they sell them at Stampin Up and Joanns also.
The acrylic frame idea is excellent. My daughter dropped a small "e" one time and even though we immediately and exhaustively searched every inch of the room, it has never been found. Those acrylic stamps bounce when they drop and are never seen again.

Keep a package of baby wipes at your desk. Thats all I use.

TFS. I use a stamp cleaner and pad to clean mine as I go too. I'll share with my mom, I know she has lost some before!

I love this idea! I always have them laying all over my table, which I know is dangerous. Thanks for the tip!

If you use baby wipes, make sure they do not have lotion on them.
I use the cleaner and a scrubber, they are not expensive, don't take up a lot of room and last a long time.

I've switched to the Ranger Ink cleaner too - I think it works really well.
Great idea about the picture frame - thanks!

Love this idea! I'm missing one right now. I've even cleaned my room and it's nowhere to be found!

Great idea about the frame! I've had a few that ended up stuck to the cat as well!

I have the stamp cleaners too, but I still usually wash the acrylic stamps at the sink.
Also, if you use baby wipes, be sure they are alcohol free. I understand the alcohol dries out the stamps.
