For smaller pieces I usually use the zig two way glue pen or run them through the Xyron.

I often use a stick but I hate how it catches on teh corners and leaves globs, and doesn't stay stuck too well. I need one of those that are like a white-out pen, but glue.

Little X - Xyron usually.

I'd suggest avoiding glue sticks. Your pieces WILL fall off over time.

I put my vote in for the xyron too. I avoid the glue stick when I can because my shapes from just a few years ago are already coming apart.

And a good pointy set of tweezers that are coated so the adhesive doesn't stick come in very handy for putting those tiny peices into the xyron and for holding your peice down while applying glue and also for placing those tiny pieces onto your project.

My favs are my coated yellow and black cutterbee tweezers similar to the ones I linked too.

A Zig pen, as mentioned is great for that, along with tweezers, and a good, BRIGHT light!

Embellie Gellie to pick them up and hold them while I apply the tiniest dots and lines with The Best Glue Ever, then precisely place the diescut onto the layout and the Embellie Gellie releases it instantly when you touch the Embellie to the layout.

Here's a video showing this (skip to 7:22)

PS IF you prefer to use a Xyron and find those little dots that seem to hang along the edge annoying, and if you have the Perfect Crafting Pouch, use it to de-activate the stickers cling-ons by lightly touching the pouch to the letters after they are on the layout.

I use a 2-way glue pen.

I also cut foam tape up really small to raise things up but that's REALLY fiddly. Oh and I have a glue dot runner similar to this. You can stick tiny bits to the end of the runner and just a few dots come off onto the paper.

The QuickStik by is a big help for picking up & moving those little pieces around if you find tweezers cumbersome.
