Im going to buy a stitching tool but was wondering if i could get some opinions on which is better:

Bazzill Stitch'z tool with Templates
or the We R. Memory Keepers sew easy tool...

I have looked at them both online, but have not tried either so i have no idea which one is better.

A mouse pad or foam, large needle, and embroidery floss.

Do anyone here know of any tutorials on how to use the sew easy? I have one but I know NOTHING about sewing, so I dont know any kinds of knots or stitches or anything so it's still in the package!

The 'Sew Easy' tools look pretty cool. I think I would try that sometime!

I think they are different.

Sew easy is great for relatively straight lines, straight line patterns. For the poking part it's way faster.

Bazill in stitches has great patterns for other things. Flowers and flourishes and the like.

I don't have any experience with the Bazzill collection, but I love my Sew Easy.

Heck, after YEARS of the ruler, piercer, mouse pade DMC floss route I finally started using my sewing machine. Fast, straight (or not, your choice) and oh so simple!

I have the sew easy and love it! I don't have a sewing machine nor do I want to sew for me, the sew easy is a great option to use on my pages. They now have bigger heads, with more designs. My only suggestion, because it is easy to use, get the mat that comes with it, and keep the back of the card that the head comes on, it will show you all the stitches that head can do. Makes it easy to see it in front of me. I got the case that stores the mat, heads, took, and floss, and needles, LOVE the case!!!!!

I have a few of the stitch templates where you punch holes through the template and then go back and stitch. I actually use these more often for patterns for rhinestones that I set with my i-rock tool.

I just got the sew easy tool. Haven't used it on a layout yet, but I have played around and practiced with it. I find the stitch patterns hard to follow for some of the more complex stitches. I manage to make it work, but I'm sure I'm not doing it correctly.

I really like my Sew Easy. You don;t have to know anything about sewing to be successful with it. Hope you get one.

Good for you. I'll bet you can't wait for your next few days off work so you can PLAY. When I get a new tool, etc. I make myself wait so I can have a few hours of fun at one time.
