Awesome card set.
I HAVE used some of my 10 cent paper for the smash book. I did not buy any specific smash stuff but am making a lot of things myself. I'll post pics when I'm all done with it.

I'm thinking about running away - who wants to open their house to me and DS?
J/K...kind of, but I need a vacation. DH is being jerk-ish, my two sisters-in-law are being dramatic high schoolish snobs, and well work still sucks.
FIL is home finally but I'm very disappointed in how DH has been handling the situation the last few days, he just gave up dealing with it. DS and I are S.O.L. if I ever get sick because I pretty much see how DH handles things. It may be different with me than with his dad, but I doubt it.
MY SILs - I just want to slap both of them. We're setting up for a rummage sale at SIL B's house and SIL A is just overly critical of everything B does. I could write a novel but I'll summarize it as I'm in the middle and I don't know how to tell them both to shut up and get along because it's a long life together yet.

Hey there. Miss Ally is doing good, she's now 8 months. She's starting to pull herself up on EVERYTHING and scoot around. No crawling yet. Two teeth on the bottom too!

Could be worse in that I could be taking the course on workforce adjustment.
But the atmosphere is so negative it is bringing me down. I need happy people and happy thoughts.

I recall reading something about survivor guilt. Guess I have a little of that.
I should be happy that I did not lose my job but if I am happy then am I being insensitive to those who are "affected"?

I just did not want to just gripe about work so I needed to take a break and just chat about the weather so to speak.
I am sure I will hate lots of aspects about the new organization so I will have years (hopefully) of griping to come.

Jane. It is very possible your feel some inappropriate guilt. it's hard. I know I got calls from old co workers when I was laid off and they felt horrible...It's human nature to care. It says alot about you as a person
good news here: I got another raise at the temp job. I was offered a perm position with another company (offer was shady) but I used it as a bargaining chip with temp job. They matched the salary (so i'm up $4 an hour!!!) but still not at my minimum required salary and no benefits yet.
I'm still looking for the right job but now it's a little easier to make ends meet.
Just found out they have anther staff accountant position opening soon so the temp service is pushing for me to get that spot. Cross Fingers

More good news: Kyleigh started girl scouts today. She loved it! I was a girl scout til I was 16. I'm also signing up to be a volunteer for events

Jane, that's kind of you to be thoughtful of the workers who are now unemployed. But, you should also be happy for yourself. You have worked very hard and deserve to stay.

Joy, intact baby heads are always a good thing!
I need to go to bed, but must sit here and wait for my glue to dry.  I would love to walk away and let things dry without me, but so would my cats.
