I always keep up on vacation scrapbooks. I am very far behind on the regular ones though.

I didn't start until my boys were six or so.

yeah i don't have alot of time either but I also don't have a camera battery charger so my camera is dead.

I started the layout and have to add the title work. I used the actual silk flowers I had in my derby hat on the layout. It will be titled "Run for the Roses"

I got started in scrapbooking right after Kyleigh was born. A bunch of my co workers would get together once a week and rotate houses. I loved it.

G, that sounds like a cute title.

I didn't start until my oldest was in college, my second in high school, and my youngest was in grade school. Talk about a late start. I will NEVER get caught up.

Good Morning,

G - I can't wait to see your LO, it sounds awesome.

I started scrapping 12 years ago, before marriage, before DS was born....I believe there is no such thing as being caught up. I keep getting distracted by other projects like swaps and card making.

Jane-sometimes no news is good news

I am taking Thur and Fri off too! We are going to visit DD and stay at a water park hotel on Thursday. Looking forward to it. I think we are over the difficult teenage years and she wants to hang out with us again.

I hope that you have a great weekend.

Sunday July 1st is Canada Day so we get Monday off instead. My vacation is not until the last week of August so this mini break will help me to recharge until then.

Peg, I love how you "think" you are over the teenage years. I used to think that, too, and then I would wake up the next day My oldest outgrew those awful years by his early 20's. I'm still holding my breath on #2 (she's 26). My youngest officially leaves his teen years in one week, and he was NEVER a difficult teen. Seriously. Never. We deserved him after those other two!

I was never a bad teen (even my parents say so), but my preteen years made up for that!!!

Someone, quick, tell me where the batteries in a toddler are. More specifically, how to take them out! Nate's a good kid, but I have no clue where he gets all the energy! Can't imagine having twins!

But....at least he didn't unroll a whole roll of TP all over the bathroom like I see another kid did according to fb pics.

That's just because he hasn't surprised you yet, Sarah. I have a story about a child and a bottle of baby powder. I should have known she wasn't napping.

The baby powder thing happened at daycare a couple months ago. Wasn't my kid though!

Yay, the city was able to save Kindergarten for next year.

I don't know anyone of that age group but it's always scary to hear about. They had to get rid of Kindergarten, teachers, sports, and the arts programs and they were still in the negative for their budget. Well arts and sports are still up in the air but they were able to save Kindergarten. It'll be a half day program but better than not having it.
