Ok Paper Sisters……wait no more…..here is your first official Paper Sister Circle Project……Drum roll please!!!..........

Accordion Albums

Not to worry if you have never made one ( I haven’t!!!) It's basically 3- 8 1/2 in. pieces of cardstock or patterned paper. Folded as was shown in the video then glued together. The inside is 4 3 1/2 in pieces as like photo mats or such. The inside can be done anyway you like!!!

Each person needs to make 9 albums to swap. They do NOT need to all be the same and can be any color or theme you choose just remember….HAVE FUN!!!!

The due date for these will be Feb 29, 2012

Hi Jen I am sorry that I have been so sporadic today!!! Had a pretty nauseous feeling day. Busy organizing and getting the first swap off to a start.

Sorry you weren't feeling so well today....I myself have got the start of a migraine, so I am feeling nauseous too! And I am bummed because I know I won't be able to do any scrapping by the weekend and I have so much I want to do!

Hi everyone... Hope we have our first swap posted soon!!!

I need to make a mini recipe book for my daughter in law on canning. I am going to use my Your Story for the book binding and a hard cover book. I plan on making different sizes and shapes on the pages. (I saw that somewhere and it looked so cool)
For Christmas she wants canning stuff. I bought her a dozen canning jars and a a caner for the water baths.

Is anyone else making crafty items for Christmas gifts?

I am making 10......yes, you heard right TEN Alice in Wonderland Mini's like the one in my gallery at the moment. I am making all the covers different and have asked all family members for pics so I can tailor the inside photo's for each person I am giving them to. Every single year we end up giving each other stuff we don't need or want just because it is Christmas and we feel we have to buy stuff for people, but this year it is homemade all the way! Lol! Sick of all the commercialism! Different for the kids, but all the adults get mini's this year! I have told everyone handmade only, so it is up to them if they buy stuff or not, but they are getting homemade from me. I am making jams, preserves and soaps to go in with the mini's, maybe some cookies and a mini gingerbread house, but that's it! = ) Even if I specifically asked for Scrapbooking stuff, I know I would get the wrong stuff! Like my sis last year asked for scrapping stuff and got a heap of cheap and crappy embellies that had been discounted for a reason which she couldn't use! I think each adult should just buy for one other adult and have a $100 budget. We did it one year but nobody stuck to it. We each put a list of ten things we would like with costs next to them and where you can get them and our name, then folded them and put them in a hat and each person drew someone to give to. It was great! I just wish people could stick to it instead of still buying for everyone else, but I guess I am just as bad! Lol! I mean it IS hard just getting a present for your brother in law and nothing for your sisters or Mother! Lol! What about you Debby? Are you making other stuff for Christmas? The canning book sounds amazing! Would love to see pics when you are finished! = )

Jen I LOVE your idea about homeade Christmas I am sooooo tired of all the stress and nonsense that goes with the Holidays....its supposed to be about family not about gifts and price tags!!! this year all of us (my kids and their significant others all drew names) and I made the homeade rule......some of them said mom we aren't crafty like you so what are we supposed to do?? I said use your brain!! you can make a donation...a batch of cookies....a promise for a lunch date or just a promise to spend some time together.....frame a picture.....be creative!!!!

I have sooooo many Christmas projects going I am afraid if I list them all I will have a painic attack!! everyone gets a hand made ornament, quilt for oldest son, rocking horse for new grand baby, canvas tote bags......I have to stop I am getting sweaty!!!!!

Project should be posted by this evening and it looks like its going to be so much fun.....something new for me but I am ready!!!
